    Objectives:
    1. Understand the meaning of Internet and World Wide Web.
    2. Differentiate the web browser from search engine.
    3. Classify the examples of web browsers and search engines.
    4. Browse the internet using different installed web browsers.

    Day 1
    EXPLORE
    Modality: ODL
    Synchronous: Zoom
    Asynchronous: LMS-Genyo

    Activity: Mind Map

    Skill: Communication; Technology


    1. Write the word “INTERNET” on the Zoom board and draw a circle around it. Prompt
    students for words/phrases that come to mind when they think about the Internet. Write a
    few on the board
    branching off of the circle.
    2. Students should copy the initial map from the board onto their own papers. In pairs or small
    groups, students work together to continue adding to their own mind-maps for 5minutes. As
    a class, create a large map on the board. Students can either call out answers as the teacher
    adds them to the map, or students can come to the board and write in their groups’
    contributions.
    3. Once the mind-map is complete, have a discussion about the words/phrases on the board.
    Review the words with the class (pronunciation, meaning, etc), and eventually come up with
    a working definition of what the Internet is.

    Activity: Pause and Think Online Music Video

    1. Play the "Pause & Think Online" video.


    2. Discuss the concepts of digital citizenship.

    Activity: Respond to Scenario

    3. Show the different scenarios and let the pupils respond.


    4. Give the Do’s and Don’ts in online
