    rt has been observed that the post of Assistant


    Revenue officer (ARo) in the o&M sub*divis.i-ons
    remains vacant for days toqether due to non-
    placement, delay in joining, proceeding on leave or
    training etc. during which the day to day work of the
    sub-divisj-on particul-arly rel-ated to revenue and
    billing get badly affected apart from delay i n
    redressal of consumers' grievances.

    In view of above, it is directed that whenever:


    the po'st of ARO remains t.o be vacant f or any reason
    whatsoever it would be the responsibrlrty of the
    respective circle Accounts Officer to depute any
    Accountant or Jr. Accountant placed in his of f i-ce
    till the post of ARO is filted in that sub-division.
    For t.his the Assistant Engineer of the concerned sub-
    divisi-on shall intimate the circle Accounts Officer
    wel-l- in advance about the non-avarlabrlrty of the ARO
    staLing the reason and period so that the circle
    Accounts Of f rcer coul-d depute any accountant or Jr.
    Accountant placed in his office well in time. After
    having deputed AccountanL/ Jr. Accountant the circle
    Accounts Officer shall intimate to the Chief Accounts
    officer (IA) to this effect.
