Main road access is gained a short distance to the north being the A39 Taunton to Minehead road.

From Taunton head in a north westerly direction on the A358 Taunton to Minehead road, continue on this road through the Hamlet of East Combe and Seven Ash. Before you get to

Flaxpool turn left towards Crowcombe Heathfield. The woodland can be found a short distance down this lane on the right hand side as identified by the for sale board.
