Introduction
We live in a world of infinite possibility, and everyone should have a shot at realising their
full potential. However, obstacles on the path to success might make it hard for people with
disabilities to reach their goals. We at the WinVinaya Foundation are committed to
removing these obstacles and enabling people with disabilities to succeed in the workforce.
WinVinaya Foundation, a Charitable Trust is one of the few organisations in India that
focuses on training people with disabilities (PWDs) in high-demand areas like software
engineering, data visualisation, robotic process automation (RPA), and other related
disciplines. According to the most recent census (2011), India is home to almost 1.3 billion
people, 20 million of whom are disabled. The percentage of college graduates is even lower,
at 8.5%.
The private sector in India only employs 0.36 per cent of persons with impairments,
according to a study by NASSCOM.

Low importance within the organisation
Individuals with disabilities have the same potential as anyone else, given the right
opportunities and support. That's why we offer services like resume critiques and mock
interviews to get people ready for the workforce. In order to help our clients become
independent and productive in their professional lives, we provide them with a variety of
resources and services.

The WinVinaya Foundation provides much more than just job placement and training. The
promotion of tolerance and acceptance is something we feel strongly about. We believe
that people with disabilities bring fresh perspectives and abilities to the workplace that can
help everyone. If we work together, we can change the future for individuals with
disabilities.

Conclusion
Real satisfaction in life comes with doing good for people, and working at WinVinaya
Foundation has allowed me to contribute to a greater cause. My experience and courses on
Social Media Marketing has found a true purpose, I was able to generate awareness in
people about the struggles and challenges of persons with disabilities. Before coming to this
organisation, I wasn’t even aware about how many disability categories are present and
being here has been a great learning experience. My interactions with people who are
disabled have shown me that, once you learn how to communicate with them, they are just
as capable as everyone else, and sometimes even more so.
