Total Qualification Time (TQT)*

This is an estimate of the total length of time it is expected that a learner will typically take to
achieve and demonstrate the level of attainment necessary for the award of the qualification
i.e. to achieve all learning outcomes.

TQT is comprised of Guided Learning Hours (GLH) and an estimate of the number of hours
a learner is likely to spend in preparation, study or any other learning including assessment,
which takes place as directed by, but not under the supervision of a lecturer, supervisor or
tutor. If a credit value is assigned to a qualification it is determined by TQT, as one credit
corresponds to 10 hours of learning.

Age Range and Geographical Coverage

This qualification is for learners aged 16 and above.

Learner Entry Requirements

Prospective learners should either be working in or aspiring to join the beauty industry with
evidence to suggest their capability of working at Level 2 or above (e.g. GCSE Mathematics
and English at grades A*-C / 4-9, Functional Skills or Essential Skills in Mathematics and
English).

It is also recommended (but not required) that prospective learners have completed a
recognised first aid at work qualification within the three years prior to enrolment.

Progression

Learners can progress to the study of beauty therapy and aesthetic treatments at Level 4.

COURSE OVERVIEW
Cosmetic Couture is the first centre in the UK to offer a specialist high-level theory course
via online learning for non-medics in injectables.

This is certified by The Aesthetic Qualification Universal Award (AQUA), and ensures
students have access to the highest calibre training materials to support their learning.

Level 4-7 Skin Rejuvenation in Aesthetic Medicine meets the requirements set within the
HEE and CPSA guidelines. Level is varied in accordance with these guidelines and access to
higher levels requires the successful completion of those levels beneath. It has been designed
to develop candidate knowledge and competence within the field of skin rejuvenation. It
provides a progression framework for all candidates between Level 4 and Level 7.
This scheme is part of a suite of schemes specifically being developed to international
standards.

AT LEVEL 5:
Certificate holders will develop the knowledge and competence required to deliver: -
i) Facial Microneedling (0.5- 1.0mm)
ii) Non-Facial Microneedling (1.0- 1.5mm)

The minimum entry criteria for those without a university degree is a regulated Level 3
Qualification in cosmetic practice and/or beauty therapy- including but not limited to: Level 3

3 YEAR ASSESSMENT
Reassessment is mandatory for all learners and is carried out on a 3-yearly basis. The scheme has
been developed in line with the CPSA guidelines to ensure the practitioner meets the knowledge and
competency requirements within these guidelines. Reassessment must be successfully completed and
passed prior to the 3-year anniversary of the certification to maintain current certification. Should this
not be completed then IQ Verify maintains the right to suspend or withdraw any certification.

Hyaluronidase is a substance that is used to dissolve hyaluronic acid fillers. This can be

Sclerotherapy effectively treats varicose and spider veins. It's often considered the treatment
of choice for small varicose veins.

Sclerotherapy involves injecting a solution directly into the vein. The sclerotherapy solution
