Deforestation

Modern society is constantly developing, and the appearance of many

environmental problems, especially deforestation. In fact, there are many benefits
that forests bring to humans and the natural environment such as generating
oxygen or contributing to preventing climate change. However, the unexpected
reality exists that the number of trees on our planet is disappearing and making
room for infrastructure other than forests. This essay will analyze some significant
impacts of this issue as well as suggest some practical solutions by the government
and individuals.

On the one hand, there are some problems with the harmful effects of forest
destruction. The most visible consequence is that it threatens the natural
environment. Obviously it has destroyed the habitat of plants and animals so
wildlife has been in danger of extinction. Because the green forest is home to some
of the world’s animals, especially wild animals, they have lost the shelter they need
for their survival when forests are cut down. Therefore, the destruction of forests
can have a devastating impact on the earth’s biodiversity. In addition, it is
undeniable that deforestation may also result in climate change on the planet.
Nowadays, when the greenhouse effect and global warming are becoming
alarming, recovering the planet's trees is considered the most practical solution.
They play an important role in absorbing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere to
reduce emissions and slow down temperature. By cutting down huge areas of
forest, therefore, without replacing the trees that humans remove, it can have a
huge impact on human lives.

On the other hand, there are some solutions to address the destruction of forests.
The most feasible solution that helps solve this problem is from government action.
In order to protect the forests, they need to strengthen the guard force and security
of the forest. Moreover, there have to be strict regulations on how much forest is
allowed to be cut down or has to be preserved and give heavy fines to people who
violate them. Another possible measure that can contribute to solving this issue is
from individual actions. People should raise their friends and relatives' awareness
about natural forest protection. There are many ways for residents to protect the
forest such as joining a reforestation program, educating children about the
importance of forests, eliminating the act of cutting down trees or contacting the
hotline of security to prevent deforestation.

In conclusion, the amount of forest is decreasing rapidly since deforestation is

growing day by day. This is actually an alarming problem and needs to be changed
right now. Because the last purpose is to protect the living planet of humans all
over the world, this change needs to combine the authorities and residents to work
together to protect the natural forest.
