HOW TO PREPARE OURSELVES TO GO TO HEAVEN
“The God has made everything for its own purpose” Prov 16:4 “This is good, and pleases God our
Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.” 1 Tim 2:3-4
“Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man(Adam), and death through sin, and in
this way death came to all people, because all sinned.” Rom 5:12 God so loved the world that he
gave His one and only Son (Jesus), that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal
life. John 3:16 Realize that God loved us so much that He sent Jesus Christ to die for our sins.
Eternal life is a gift of God through Jesus Christ only.
1. BORN AGAIN and BAPTIZE IN WATER and SPIRIT

“For Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Rom 10:13 “Whoever believes
and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.” Mark16:16
“Repent and be baptized… you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” Acts 2:38
2. LIVE IN THE SPIRIT and FOLLOW JESUS

“For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.” Rom8:14 “Do you not
know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from
God?...Therefore honor God with your bodies.” 1Cor 6:19-20 “So I say, walk by the Spirit, and
you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.” Gal 5:16 “The acts of the flesh are obvious: impurity
and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition,
dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before,
that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.” Gal 5:19-21
3. WORSHIP GOD and BE HOLY
“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a a
living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do notnot
conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.mind.

4. SERVE OTHERS WITH OUR GIFTS

“Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and and

5. WATCH and PRAY

“Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about toto
happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.” Luke21:36 “But the day day
of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will bebe
destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare. Since everything

Realize that faith in Jesus Christ is the only way to Heaven. “Anyone whose name was was
not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire (Hell) Rev 20:15

Realize that while living on earth, one must make the decision as to where they will will
spend eternity.
Receive Jesus Christ as your Savior from sin, pray the following prayer of salvation:
“Lord, I know I am a sinner, that my sin will send me to hell. I know I can obtain salvation no
no
other way but through Jesus Christ. I believe that He died for my sins and rose again. I now
now
ask Him to be my savior.” If you have prayed the above prayer and accepted Jesus as the the
Lord and Savior of your life, you are now a child of God and your name is written in the book

Grow as a Christian by reading the Bible, follow above steps, and pray on a daily basis
