    SAG 622 antifoam emulsion is a Key Features and Typical Benefits Potential Applications
    durable silicone emulsion and an „ excellent foam control at high SAG 622 antifoam emulsion has found
    excellent candidate to consider temperature utility in many textile wet processing
    applications, such as:
    for use in controlling foam in high „ exceptional foam control in non-ionic
    temperature aqueous systems and anionic surfactant systems „ foam control in textile pre-treatment
    „ quick foam knockdown processes and textile print paste
    such as the Jet Dyeing process. It
    „ persistent antifoam performance
    „ textile sizing and scouring agents
    is easy to use and typically displays
    superior dispersibility in both „ widely applicable
    „ acrylic latexes and thickeners used for
    textiles and nonwovens
    non-ionic and anionic aqueous „ good emulsion stability and dilution
    stability
    „ other chemical processes requiring
    foaming media. It does not form foam control
    free surface oil or non-dispersed „ readily dispersible in the foaming
    media
    particles.

    SAG 622 antifoam emulsion allows


    foam control over a broad pH range
    and temperature range.

    SAG* 622 antifoam emulsion

    General Instructions for Use


    SAG 622 antifoam emulsion is preferably added before foam
    formation although it can also act as a defoamer to destroy
    existing foam.
    Use SAG 622 antifoam emulsion as received or dilute first
    with water.

    „ mix the antifoam well before use


    „ dilution: Mix 3 to 10 parts of diluent to 1 part of antifoam;
    stir gently until a uniform mixture is obtained
    „ for long-term bulk stability of dilution, use a thickened
    water diluent
    When evaluating SAG 622 antifoam emulsion:
    „ we recommend that 10 - 100 ppm of product as-received
    be evaluated initially
    „ adjust use levels according to the observed performance
