GROUP A FILMS
Introduction
*montage of TWD clips plays over the intro
music of the show*

The walking dead's 11 season of televison has

been going for over a decade and has had
some incredible highs and lows. Today ill be
listing my top 5 favourite episodes of the show.
Number 5
*clips of still s4ep14 play*

Episode 14 season 4 still follows Beth and Daryl after the governors
attack on the prison leaving them alone and without a home, they begin
the episode by surviving out in the woods eating whatever they can find,
in search of shelter they come across an old country club filled with
bodies and zombies alike. This episode is a brilliant example of why TWD
worldbuilding is so amazing as they manage to convey an interesting
story simply by its aftermath, many other shows would've had a single
person there to explain to our characters and by extension us the
audience every single detail of what happened TWD itself is know for
doing this in some of its other shows and in later seasons. This episode is
also a good insite into the characters of Beth and Daryl, Beth wants to
be more optomistic about their situation were as Daryl seems hopeless
and accepts the fact that his friends and family are most likely dead.
This episode has some incredible world-building and character
moments and this is why I've put it on my list.
Number 4
*clips of not tomorrow yet play*
Not tomorrow yet follows the group attacking a saviour outpost during
the night, this episode is a turning point for the show as its the first time
rick and the survivors attack a group unprovoked as they sneek in
during the night. This episode has some amazing character moments
showing each character and how they react to killing this group of
people unprovoked, the episode not only has some great character
moments but also a great deal of fun and engaging action. The episode
shows how the group and the show have changed and developed this is
why its one of my favourite episodes showing the darker side of the
group and what lengths they will go too to ensure their survival, another
reason this episode is one of my favourites is because of the look and
cinematography with most scenes having one main colour to them and
alot of close up agnles with alot of movement all of this culminates into
a stellar episode and one of my favourites
Number 3
*clips of A begin to play*
A is the final episode of season 4 and follows Rick, Michonne and Carl
trying to survive together out in the wastes while they're on their way to
terminus in search of sanctuary. At the start of the episode the claimers
finally catch up to Rick after he killed one their own earlier in the season
after Daryl steps in and stops Rick from being killed one of the most
iconic kills happens while rick is stuck unable to move he shocks not only
the audience but also the character by chewing a mans throat out, the
begining of the episode sets the tone of the season so far and how
much Rick has chnaged from the first sesaon where he refused to kill the
living. The rest of the episode is dedicated to Rick, Michonne, Carl and
Daryl making their way to Terminus. Rick instantly knows something is up
after spotting items and clothing owned by their friends. By the end of
the episode the people of terminus have lured them into a trap where
they're placed into a shipping container. This episode has some great
tension keeping you on the edge of your seat at all times with some
incredibly memorable moments and the most iconic kill in TWD ending
off the season with a tense cliffhanger leaving you with so many
questions making it one of the most engaging and one of my favourite
episodes of the entire show
Number 2
*clips of four walls and a roof begin to play*
Four walls and a roof is the culmination of the suprisinlgy short lived
terminus arc, set almost entirely in the church. Most of the episode is
about the tense situation the group find themselves in ultimatley
deciding to attempt to kill gareth and the hunters, this episode has
some amazing character moments and another one of the most iconic
kills in TWD once again carried out by Rick fuffilling the promise he made
to Gareth at the start of the season *rick telling gareth he's gonna kill
him in no sanctuary*. Per usual for the season the performances done
by all actors are amazing. The episode once again gives us some
amazing character moments especially between Rick and Abraham
and Bob and Sasha. not much else to say other than its one of my
favourite episodes in one of the best seasons the show has ever had.
Number 1
*clips of Days gone bye begin to play*
Days gone bye is the episode that started it all and is my favourite
episode of the entire 11 season long show, The characters, the
performances, the setting, the mystery, the plot everything comes
toghether to create an incredible pilot episode that kickstarted the
series. The questions the episodes gives us such as who are the
helicopter people, is Ricks family alive, is Rick gonna survive and how did
the outbrak happen. During Ricks journey to atlanta he comes across
the aftermath of alot of gruesome mini stories creating some amazing
worldbuilding which becomes a staple for the show. This is my favourite
episode not only because of how well it is presented but since it started
off one of if not my favourite show i've ever seen.
