Using proper scaffolding - remove ceiling tiles Wear PPE
Keep work area organized and clean
Check and/or fasten all lights and ceiling devices to ceiling above before Light fixtures falling down Barricade off work area
removing grid "T” bars
If lights are to be replaced, set up temporary lights before having the electrician Unexpected items in Check for loose items in ceiling
remove permanent lighting ceiling loose
Remove grid “T” bars and be aware of hanging wires from ceiling above Puncture/ cuts Bend wires up
Reinstall new “T” bar grid Cuts
Have mechanical & electrical devices installed Dust in eyes
Install ceiling tiles
Work area becomes
messy which can lead to
trip hazards
Prepare area for overhead work
Move furniture, cover existing items
