welcoming for the very first time today the excellent REGIONAL DIRECTOR and
CAREER EXECUTIVE OFFICER 3 OF DEPED REGION 6-WESTERN VISAYAS, i
DR. RAMIR B. UYTICO!
MJ: --- Thank you very much for spending your precious January 12 with us in this
remarkable division convergence despite the very unpredictable weather and the
heavy downpours.
DAWN: --- We would also like to take this moment to briefly welcome the outstanding
PSDS’s together with their exceptional school heads coming from the 6 clustered
districts of the Division of Negros Occidental.
MJ: --- Kudos to the amazing TAHITIAN DANCERS of Calatrava Senior High
School-Stand alone for that marvelous opening salvo performance! That was one
commendable, spectacular way of welcoming everybody here today!
DAWN: --- To formally open this wonderful event, we are requesting everyone to rise
as we pay homage to our country, to God, to our region, and to our division through
an audio-visual presentation. Ladies and gentlemen, the Philippine National Anthem.
DAWN: --- If everyone is moving forward together, then success just takes care of
itself.
MJ: --- We are most humbled and proud to have been given this chance to be your
masters of ceremonies for this event. Looking at you all, fantastic leaders, kind of
give us reasonable chills and overwhelming pressure, but we could not be more than
grateful for the opportunity, so thank you very much.
DAWN: --- Indeed, Ma’am MJ. How lovely it is to be in the circle of the greatest and
highly-favored persons in the field of education, and how inspiring it is to look at you
all converging together to reach common goals.
MJ: --- How wonderfully said, Sir Dawn. Now, to further acknowledge us all in this
convergence event, give a big hand to the Public Schools District Supervisor of
Calatrava 2, DR. MAGNA ESTRELLA B. MARCIAL, for her warm words of welcome.
DAWN: --- Thank you, Dr. Marcial, for making us feel at home by your heartfelt
welcome. At this juncture, to officially present the participants of this division
convergence, help us welcome the charming PSDS of Don Salvador Benedicto, DR.
JULIUS V. OBERES, to do the honor.
MJ: --- Thank you, Dr. Oberes, for such dynamic presentation of the participants.
Your energy has always graced any occasion. Before we transition to one of the
highlights of this convergence program, let us set the vitality and sizzling ambiance
in this hall by witnessing the very own cultural dance of the Municipality of Calatrava,
the Lilas Pandan. Let’s give it up to the graceful LILAS PANDAN DANCERS of
__________________________. Let us offer them a vigorous round of applause!
DAWN: --- What an amazing show! I could not be more proud of being a
Calatravanhon! Thank you very much, dancers. And now, dear friends, we have
arrived at one major portion of this division convergence where we shall listen to
some great words from a great man who is the embodiment of wisdom in the
Division of Negros Occidental. Ladies and gentlemen, let us join our hands together
as we welcome our Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Anthony H. Liobet, for the
Superintendent’s Hour!
MJ: --- Such remarkable wisdom and wit I will never falter to emulate from a great
superintendent. Awesome thanks, Dr. Liobet. In this interval, let us take a relaxing
break as we get entertained by a talented teacher singer so far in the history of
Calatrava National High School. Enjoy the beautiful voice of Mr. Kevin R. Gomez in
his rendition of the song _________________. A hand, please!
DAWN: --- Wow, that was indeed, talent. Thank you very much, Mr. Gomez, for
sharing with us your beautiful melody. This time, dear folks, before we finally
transition to the “icing on the cake” of this division convergence, may we call on the
brilliant Public Schools District Supervisor of Toboso Cluster 1, MA’AM EDILY A.
LEONARDO, to formally introduce our magnificent guest speaker for this event. A
nice round of applause, please!
MJ: --- Just marvelous. Our speaker has never failed to enthrall me by his
remarkable cleverness. I had a great opportunity to be one of his post-graduate
students in Educational Management way back 2014 in NORSU-Dumaguete, and
that time, I and my classmates already knew that he would make a name for himself
as Regional Director one day. Very down-to-earth, approachable, and so full of
integrity; such words would perfectly describe a Dr. Uytico. Thank you very much,
sir, for gracing this event with your wit and presence.
DAWN: --- Splendid. At this point in time, ladies and gentlemen, we shall move
forward to the giving of plaque and token of appreciation for or guest speaker. We
humbly request once again. Dr. Ramir B. Uytico to join us on stage. Sir, please.
MJ: --- Oh, yes, indeed, Sir Dawn. Congratulations to us, everyone. Moving on, and
before we culminate today’s event, let us listen to some significant updates and
perhaps some good news fresh from the Department of Education. Let us welcome
with a resounding applause our Education Program Supervisors

DAWN: --- What great news and updates those were! Thank you very much, dear
Education Program Supervisors! I could not help but be excited for the realization of
DepEd’s future plans and new goals. Let us then strive together and make great
things happen!
MJ: ---You nailed it, Sir Dawn! Let us turn mirrors into windows and open up doors
for opportunities. May we request everyone to rise as we end this program with a
closing prayer to be led by the remarkably enthusiastic principal of HARBORT
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, DR. NOLY B. BOCTOLAN.
DAWN: Amen and amen! And that ends the first part of this division convergence,
ladies and gentlemen.
MJ: --- It has been an honor to be your hosts, and we hope to meet you all again in
some future undertakings. I am MJ G. Brasona…
DAWN: --- And I am Deece Dawn F. Medina, saying “Convergence is inevitable: the
faster it happens, the better.”
MJ: --- And to create greater convergence, we need more integration. Thank you all
for coming, and enjoy the rest of the program!
