ACTION AND REACTION:

● NARRATIVE

The site 1 is located at Tramo, Balagtas, Batangas City with size 4.24 ha. Overall size is
estimated at 17.98 ha and the future expansion is not a problem. One major factor is the
surroundings especially located at the East side of the site whereas common shelters are located
at the front of the site. To cope up with such factors, planning and other architectural strategies
might be incorporated. Demolishing houses will never be an option for the purpose of a nice
front view.

● ANALYSIS

If the proposed site is later approved, the expansion of land will occur as the whole
hectares 17.98 ha and just cut a small amount into 4.24 ha of lot size for municipality building
and functions. Other utilities and necessities will follow and other design strategies or design
solutions.

Pallocan West is a barangay in Batangas City, in the province of Batangas. Its population
as determined by the 2020 Census was 6,854. This represented 1.95% of the total population of
Batangas City. It is located at 13.7544, 121.0650. The elevation is calculated to be 12.8 meters
(42.0 feet) above mean sea level at these locations.

Moreover, Pallocan West shares a common border with the Batangas City barangays of
Pallocan East, Cuta, Libjo, Barangay 1, Barangay 2, Barangay 3, Barangay 4 (Población) and
Kumintang Ibaba.

Numerous creeks and streams run through Batangas City, eventually converging on the
Calumpang River, which spills into Batangas Bay. The site is 0.82km away from Calumpang
River. Calumpang River is a perennial water body having a catchment area of 472.00 square
kilometers. The Poblacion's southeastern boundary is the river, which drains into Batangas Bay
about two kilometers south of Batangas Port. It measures eight (8) kilometers in length, with an
average width of 54-165 meters and a depth of 0.27-5.37 meters.

The lot is situated close to SM City Batangas and Most Holy Trinity Church, as well as
the Hall of Justice, Mercury Drug, PhilHealth, Security Bank ATM, and several restaurants. With
an area of 4.98 hectares. The site is intended for the new Batangas City Municipal hall and other
necessary structures.

The site is conveniently located on a major road and has easy access to public
transportation. It's situated adjacent to SM City Batangas and the Most Holy Trinity Church, both
of which are popular among locals. It's also close to the Batangas City Hall and Plaza Mabini,
which are both 1.56 kilometers distant. In general, the location is close to public amenities such
as restaurants, hotels, and other services. However, flooding is possible due to its proximity to
the Calumpang River.

Santa Clara is a barangay in Batangas City, in the province of Batangas. Its population as
determined by the 2020 Census was 12,843. This represented 3.65% of the total population of
Batangas City. Santa Clara is situated at approximately 13.7539, 121.0449, in the island of
Luzon. Elevation at these coordinates is estimated at 9.1 meters or 29.9 feet above mean sea
level.

Analysis:

There would be no problem with its accessibility to the people as the location of the site
is near the center of transportation and near Poblacion, the center of business activity. There is
also almost zero hazard to be considered as it is not near to any facility that unbinds harmful
matter to the people and environment.
