Why can't I understand you if we speak the same language? Why are your outfits so diverse and

your expressions so muddled to me? We began our first communication lessons in April 2022

with these kind of queries. that it has been a fascinating journey since then

Throughout this entire learning time, we learned not only how a manager should handle good

communication in the workplace, but also how to be skeptical and regard others' emotions, as

well as how to analyze various scenarios and handle conflict properly. with a combination of

fiery arguments and heart-stopping exams. My experience with this course has been a

rollercoaster ride.

Although I appreciated most of the activities we performed in and out of the classroom to

improve our learning experience, the most terrifying aspect had to be the group presentation that

my two other classmates and I made. sumina and aarzu

When the lecturer originally mentioned that we would be randomly divided into groups by Mr

Simon for our COM200 project, I was skeptical at first because this would be my first time in

this class being assigned to work alongside two other classmates. My immediate instinct was

simply get it done. Me, Arzu, and Sumina then determined that we should first read about the

topic for which we have opted to do a presentation, which is interpersonal communication. We

then divided the task evenly among ourselves, and I learned that working as a team is really

better, as long as each team member understands what they are meant to be doing

Following that, the crew did have some disagreements on what we should include in the short

skit and PowerPoint content. I provided one piece of material, and then everyone made their own

comments about where they thought their proposal should be adopted. We then write down all of

the ideas and analyze the benefits and drawbacks of each one. The group then reached an

agreement. This has taught me that we must be receptive to constructive criticism since it aids

the group in finding the finest answers possible.

I'm glad this is ended up pretty good. I'm not used to working with other. I am more of a do it

yourself kind of person. Nonetheless, my group members, has been quite helpful in teaching me

in terms of what to anticipate from a group task rather than carrying the complete load of

completing the work by myself. This topic study has broadened my view on life and

communication, as well as introduced me to many wonderful individuals and ideas. It's

reassuring to know that there is no single correct approach to comprehend or do anything.
