What is prayer?

Prayer is the means by which followers of God

communicate with him. It is through this method
that they express their gratitude and make their
demands known.

The Holy Scriptures are full of moving examples of

individuals praying to God and asking for his help
with a variety of things, including his guidance,
strength, and healing.

"Talking to God" is what we mean when we pray. The

act of directly addressing God in prayer, as opposed
to meditating or engaging in passive reflection, is
known as prayer. It is the interaction of a person's
soul with God, who is the one who originally created
the soul.

Prayer is the primary means by which a follower of

Jesus Christ can fellowship with God as well as
communicate his feelings and desires to him. Prayer
is also the means by which he can share his thoughts
with other believers.

In the Bible, prayer is described as seeking the favor

of God (Exodus 32:11), pouring out one's soul to the
Lord (1 Samuel 1:15), crying out to heaven (Psalms
73:28, KJV), drawing near to God (Psalms 73:28, KJV),
and kneeling before the Father (Ephesians 3:14).
Importance of Praying for Your Future Husband

In Proverbs 16:9 it says that although a man's heart

may devise his path, it is the Lord who determines his
ways.

Paul said in Philippians chapter 4 verses 6 and 7 that

we should not be anxious about anything, but rather,
in every circumstance, we should bring our requests
to God via prayer and petition, along with
thankfulness.

In the name of Jesus Christ, the peace of God, which

is beyond human comprehension, will keep watch
over our hearts and thoughts.

Therefore, instead of being concerned about

everything related to your future husband, pray for
him and about him, as God desires for us to
communicate with Him about everything.

Here are a few reasons why you should make praying

for your future spouse a priority. The power of
prayer can provide clarity to your perspective on
marriage.

You need to have a pretty clear picture of what you

want in a man in the same manner that you have a
vision for your life; in other words, you need to have
a vision.

When we pray to God, we are communicating to him

exactly where we are in life and what it is that we
would want to see happen in the world.

How frequently do we ought to pray?

The answer given in the Bible is to "pray without

ceasing" (1 Thessalonian 5:17).

It is important for us to maintain constant

communication with God throughout the day.

It's time we just got it done. Our relationship with

God deepens as well as our trust in, and absolute
dependence on, Him is displayed more clearly via
prayer.
How to Pray

Although the Bible does not provide a specific

formula for how to pray, as humans we all have
varied methods in which we feel most at ease when
connecting with God.

We are able to pray in any position and under any

scenario, including kneeling, walking, running,
whispering prayers, praying in the shower, praying in
the gym, praying in the church, or praying wherever
else that your spirit directs you to pray.

Every prayer should be said in confidence (James

1:6), in the name of the Lord Jesus (John 16:23), and
in the power of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 14:15).
(Romans 8:26).

Christian prayer in its full New Testament meaning is

prayer addressed to God as Father, in the name of
Christ as Mediator, and through the enabling grace of
the Holy Spirit.

Psalm 10:4 says that the wicked have no desire to

pray, yet the Psalms teaches us that those who are
God's children have a natural desire to pray (Luke
11:1).
Praying in accordance with the will of God and in
accordance with His Word is the most effective way
to have your prayers answered.

Day 1

Dear Father in Heaven, I'd want to express my

gratitude for the pleasant surprise.

You have kept me safe, and as a result, I have come

to offer back all of the respect and praise that is due
to your name.

Lord, you instructed us to always give gratitude in

your word, and you said that this should apply to
everything. As a result, I would like to express my
gratitude to you for the provision, protection, and
preservation that you have provided.

Lord, I am well aware that I am a sinner. I have

strayed away from the instructions you gave me.
Today, I pray that you will have mercy on me and
pardon me.

We are grateful to you, Father, for hearing and

answering our prayers. Amen.
Day 2

Lord, I am your servant. I pray that your will be

carried out in every aspect of my life. My mind can't
stop thinking about when I'll first lay eyes on my
future hubby.

The hope in my heart is that I will finally get to meet

the man of my fantasies tomorrow in the classroom
or in church. But God! How foolish of me, considering
that I have no idea what the next day will bring.

My existence is nothing more than a vapor that is

here today and gone tomorrow. Keeping this reality
in mind, I pray and seek your help, asking that your
will be carried out in my life. Determine my course of
action.

Proverbs 19:21

Although a man's head may be full of many different

plans, only the purpose that the Lord has for his life
will endure.
Day 3

Lord, deep down, I am a plotter and a planner by

nature. This is just the way I am. This is inherent in
human nature. I want to make some plans. But God, I
don't want to clench my fist around these plans and
keep them all to myself. They have to be let to go.

I am obligated to keep them available to you. I pray

that even if my heart is attempting to plan, and even
though it desires to plan, that your purpose may still
be fulfilled in my life.

I give you complete access to my life. I pray that your

goals are realized.

Determine my course of action. My soul is pleading

with me to think about the future and to fall in love.
To marry a godly man. to be part of a family

But, my Father, even more than that, I want YOU to

direct the course of my steps. I can't move forward
without having you do it for me.

Proverbs 3:5

Put your complete reliance on the Lord, rather than

on your own insight and knowledge, and do not
doubt his promises.
Day 4

Father God, I bow down before you now to pray for

the man who will one day be my husband. Lord, may
his walk with You be richly blessed as he travels this
path.

I pray, Father, that his relationship with You will be

his highest priority, and that You will always be his
first love. Lord, I pray that growing closer to You will
not feel like a chore or something to cross off a list,
but rather a genuine joy in getting to know Your
heart more deeply and personally as we do so.

May his heart yearn for more of You and less of this
world, and may he mature as he discovers what it
means to be a disciple of Christ in every aspect of
life.

I pray, Lord, that he will conduct his life in such a way

that it will be obvious to all around him that he is
different, and that the reason for his difference is
Your Light dwelling inside him. I pray that he will be a
man who perfectly reflects Your values in every
manner.
Day 5

I bow down before you, Heavenly Father, to pray for

the success of my future husband or wife's goals and
aspirations. Lord, you are so good in the way that you
deliberately created us to dream and to have
passions that we want to pursue.

Please, Lord, provide him the ability to pursue the

aspirations that you have planted in his heart and see
them through to fruition.

May doors open in such a way that He realizes it is

only possible that You are the one behind the scenes
arranging everything that is happening.

While he is working on the things that lie ahead of

him, work through him and help him to sense your
Holy Spirit working within him.

I pray that he will be a vessel for you here on earth,

and that the dreams you set in his heart will come
true so that the world can see them.

Day 6

God our Father,

I pray that my future husband's ties with his family

and friends will be healthy and fulfilling.

Lord, we are aware that relationships are a key

component in the development of community and
that they are of the utmost significance to the Church
as a whole.

I pray that the relationship he has with both of his

parents is one that is strong, loving, and supportive.
Because I am certain that one day I will marry into his
family and become part of his parents' family, I hope
that the Lord would bless his parents today.

I pray that they are aware of how much I already

adore them, and I express my deepest desire to
become their daughters.

I lift up in prayer the friendships that my spouse has

with his peers. He should be surrounded by godly
men who will both encourage and challenge him. My
prayer is that they will be a source of accountability
for him and motivation for him to live a good life.

Day 7

I bow down before you, Lord God, to pray for the

emotional and spiritual well-being of the person who
will one day be my spouse.

Lord, especially in this time that we are living in here

on earth, things have the capability of so quickly
bringing us down, invoking emotions of
hopelessness, and frequently becoming a pit that we
fall into when we succumb to sadness.

I pray that if this is the case for my husband, then

You will be the one to reach out a hand to him and
pull him out of whatever situation he finds himself in.

I pray that he is filled with a sense of serenity, love,

and worthiness by the presence of Your Spirit. I pray
that throughout this journey, he will develop
spiritually alongside You.

In the name of Jesus Christ, I ask that the schemes

and assaults of the adversary will be defeated, so
that he may enjoy the abundant clarity and freedom
that can only come from being born of Your Spirit.
Day 8

Lord God,

I pray that he maintains his honor, honesty, and

character. I pray that he may have a moral code that
is honed and defined by You and that it is established
within his heart.

I pray that he would have a heart and spirit that are

open to learning, so that if there is room for
development inside him, he will be ready and willing
to submit to the shaping that you do.

Assist him in becoming the kind of man who, even if

someone were to say something bad about him, no
one would believe it because they would know that
he is a man of dignity. We are grateful for the man
that he is maturing into.

Day 9

Father God, I ask you to bless my future husband

with a heart that is focused on God's mission and the
Kingdom.

I pray that he will not just consider how the actions

or decisions he makes will have an effect on his own
life, but rather how he might be an ambassador of
the Kingdom of God through the way he lives his life.

I pray that he will seek You in order to discover how

he might function as a Godly man at his area of
employment, in his interactions with other people,
and in our world.

Lord, instill in him a mission that is not just for his

life, but for the lives of his children and grandchildren
to come. I pray that his thoughts, heart, and
motivations are all focused on the Kingdom of God
rather than the kingdoms of man.

Day 10

Father God, I ask you, to prepare my man to become

a husband. Please hear my prayer. I know that you
are working on me as I get ready to marry this noble
and honorable man, but I want you to know that I am
also praying for him as he gets ready for me.

Assist him in assuming the responsibility that is

rightfully his, but also in doing it with self-assurance.

My hope is that he would have the wisdom to

recognize that his worth is derived entirely from you,
and that he would not question or doubt anything
that you have planned for him in the future.

I give thanks that one day I will be coupled with him,

that I will be his rib, and that I will be a member of
his squad.

In order for us to fulfill the callings that you have

given to each of us as a group, please help us develop
into the persons we need to be.

We are grateful that you have taken the time and

effort to get us ready.
Day 11

Dear Lord, before I ask you for anything else on this

special day, I want to pray from the bottom of my
heart that the Lord will bless you my future hubby
and increase him in every way. I know that he will.

I pray that today goes swimmingly for you and that

none of your foes give you any trouble. I pray that
goodness follows you wherever you go and even
ensure that you are never without anything excellent
wherever you are in the world.

I pray that the angels would clear the way for you to
find serenity and prosperity. I hope that this month
and the rest of the year bring you a lot of happiness
and reasons to celebrate.

I pray that God's grace and mercy find their way to

you. I pray that the Lord grants you whatever your
heart desires. I love you.
Day 12:

God, I pray that the man who will one day be my

husband has a relationship with you, and that he is
aware of you.

I will pray that he is the kind of man who shares your

values and that the love and devotion he has for you
will only deepen over time.

I pray that if he has not yet been saved, you would

soften his heart and lead him to give his life to Jesus.

Please hear my prayer and answer it in the

affirmative. I pray, Lord, that you reveal to him who
you are, and that he has a newfound understanding
of the depth of your love for him.

Day 13

God, I pray that the man who will one day be my

husband is secure in who he is and in the person you
intended for him to be.

I pray that he will have the courage and conviction to

pursue the things that are important to him.

In addition, I will be praying that he will have the

courage to pursue me and ask me out on a date.

I confront him with any uncertainties or worries that

he may have, and I pray that he will remain true to
himself while he continues his pursuit of me.

Day 14

Dear God, please confirm the desires that are

already present in both of our hearts and that we will
understand that we are meant to be together.

I will pray that you will talk to both of us and that you
would affirm that it is God's desire for us to get
married.

I want to be quite clear in his mind that he is going

to marry me in the future.

In Jesus' name, Amen.

Day 15

God,

I pray that my future husband is healed from his past

and that he is ready for a healthy relationship. I want
our relationship to be happy and healthy.

In the name of Jesus, I cut off any ungodly soul links

that have been connected to him in the past, and I
declare healing over any experiences that he had
when he was a child.

I pray that he has a positive outlook on marriage and

that he does not have any reservations about
committing to or pursuing a marriage partnership.

In Jesus' name, Amen.

Day 16

Dear God,

I pray that the life of the man who will one day be my
husband be influenced by godly men all around him.

I pray that you bring the right friends into his life who
also walk in your ways, and I pray that you bring a
guide into his life who can support him and his walk
with Christ.

I pray that you bring the right friends into his life who
also walk in your ways.

In addition, I am requesting that you cut off any

friendships that are contrary to the will of God or
that prevent him from enjoying the life you want for
him.

May the community he has help him to grow, and

Lord, if there is even one person who is stunting that
growth or pulling him down, I pray that You would
gently remove that person so that my husband can
live up to his full potential through You.

May the community he has help him to grow.

Day 17

Our Father in heaven,

I pray that my future spouse will have a greater love

for You than he does for me, and that he will find
greater joy in making You happy than he will in
making me happy.

I pray that the personal relationship that my future

husband has with You will continue to deepen and
mature because I know that his love for me will come
from the foundation that You provide.

I hope and pray that I will be of assistance to you in

some way. In the name of Jesus, she will help you
and provide you joy for the rest of your life.
18th Day

Beloved Lord,

I pray that the Lord will provide grace and strength to

my future husband so that he will be able to stand in
the gap and remain in the place of prayer.

I pray that regardless of the time of day or the

conditions outside, he will rise and make his way
humbly to the place where he prays in order to
collaborate with you and help create your purpose
here on earth.

I hope and pray that my future husband will put a

strong emphasis on you. Being in second place is fine
with me.

I pray that You will truly be the one who has

dominion over his life and that you will be the one
who teaches him how to love.

Day 19

Our Father in heaven,

I pray that the love I share with my future husband

will not destroy him.

His flesh should make room for the Spirit of love

from this point forward so that he may walk in divine
love wherever he goes, whether it is at home, at
work, on the street, at church, or even with complete
strangers.

My prayer is that you will provide the grace

necessary on my future spouse to carry out the
responsibilities that you have predetermined for him.

I pray that the path that you have set before him will
not cause his hands to become lax.

In the name of Jesus, I pray that he will follow the

way that You have planned for him.
Dear Lord,

Please help my soon-to-be spouse on how to pick

good companions for himself.

Bring him men who will encourage his accountability

before You and who will not lead him into sin. Bring
him men.

I will pray that you become known for your hard

work and success in the business world.

Everything you set your hand to will be illuminated

by the glory of God. You will garner favor not just in
the eyes of mankind, but also in the eyes of God.

To my foreseeable future hubby,

I will pray for you to become the best possible parent

to your children. You are not only going to give them
material items, but you are also going to give them
yourself, including your time, attention, and
emotions.

I give thanks for the man who will one day be my

spouse. I want to thank you for the privilege of
spending this life with you and doing things together.
My hope is that we will always find time to laugh
together.

I hope that this time we spend together is filled of

laughter and joy. I pray that having fun becomes one
of our top priorities, but I also pray that it develops
organically as a result of our focus on having fun.

I pray that being in my company would help my

Our Father in heaven,

I pray that my breasts will satisfy the man I will one

day marry. In the name of Jesus, I pray that our
sexual closeness with one another will always be
new, uplifting, and a reflection of love that is
unselfish.

I pray for your health on all fronts—physical, mental,

emotional, and social—as well as for your spiritual
fortitude.

You will become a powerful warrior because of the

Lord. In the name of Jesus Christ, you are a brave and
mighty man!
Day 23

Dear Future Husband,

I pray for you to have patience and to be a guy who

promotes peace. You will not give in to your wrath,
but rather you will surrender control of your
responses up to the Holy Spirit.

You will have an easy time forgiving others and will

be seasoned with acts of kindness and grace.

beacon of light in this dark planet.

Because there is so much territory for both of us to

conquer together, I pray that God would give you the
grace to be courageous for me.

Dear future husband,

My prayer is that you are able to find contentment,

pleasure, and laughter wherever you may be right
now. I am aware of this since I am currently praying
for you.

Even though we haven't met, I can already tell that

we have a deep connection. And I've already fallen in
love with you.

You are the kind of man that every woman dreams

about having someday. Keep your relationship with
God strong, my love.

You, Lord,

have made me in your image and likeness when you

formed me. Your powerful hands have crafted me
into a wondrous masterpiece.

I pray, Lord, that my husband loves me in the way

that you have created me to be loved. Let it be that
he discovers his joy and contentment in me.

Permit him to find his delight and happiness in me.

Lord, you instructed husbands to love their wives in

your word, saying that they should do so in the same
way that Christ loved the church and sacrificed
himself for her.

Therefore, show him via the power of the holy spirit

how to love me in the role of his wife. It would be
nice if his attributes were complemented by my own.

Day 29

My Eternal Father, You are aware of the conclusion

from the very beginning. You cannot be kept in the
dark about anything that is happening on or below
the ground.

According to the Scripture, "Great is our Lord and

great in strength; the scope of his wisdom is without
bound."

You alone are the only person who knows the man I
would marry. You are the only one who is aware of
the current whereabouts of my future husband.

I beseech you, Lord, to bestow your blessing of

understanding onto him. Let him have a
comprehensive understanding of everything.

It is written in the scriptures that "For the Lord gives

wisdom," and that "from his lips come knowledge
and understanding."

Unlock his potential to learn and grow his

intelligence. Please grant him the insight to
comprehend what I am saying.

Thanks you Lord that your prayers have been heard.

Day 30

I pray that the Lord will bestow his favor and

guidance upon my future spouse in whatever he
does. Bless the works that came from his hands, and
increase the size of his seashore.

Everything that comes into contact with him should

be sanctified. You have made a commitment to bless
those who are righteous and to hear their prayers
when they pray.

Therefore, I would want to make the request that

you find my future husband who is successful
financially.

In the scriptures, it is written, "Beloved, I pray that

you may flourish in all things and be in health, just as
your soul prospers."

Therefore, God make him to be successful in his

endeavors. Let him to have complete financial
control over all of his requirements.

Give him your support so that he can be successful in

everything he does. We are grateful to you, Father,
for hearing and answering our prayers. Amen.
Day 31,

Lord,

You alone are aware of the difficulties presented by

my prospective husband. You are aware of his
anxieties as well as his weaknesses.

Please shield him from every shadow that may

appear in his life. Deliver him from both his own
failings and those of his vices. Remove from his life
any unsavory associates and coworkers.

I pray that you will keep any evil spirits away from
me, for the Bible says that "the thief comes only to
steal, kill, and destroy; I have come that they may
have life, and have it to the full."

Lord protect my husband from the devil and anybody

he sends on his behalf. Send your angel to guard him
against all that is bad and wicked around him.

Lord, you have promised that you will defend the

righteous. According the Bible, "The upright person is
rescued from misfortune, and it falls instead on the
wicked."

As a result, I pray that he will come through for me in

times of need. Defend him when he is at his place of
employment. Whenever he walks outside or comes
inside, watch out for his safety.
