circuited. The rotor resistance and standstill rotor reactance are 0.1 ohm and 0.6 ohm
respectively. If an extra resistance of 0.1 ohm per phase is added to the rotor circuit, what will
be the new full load speed? (7+ 8)
9. (a) What are the advantages of placing field winding in rotor in an Alternator?
(b) Write short note on Static Excitation System of Alternator. (7+8)
