➢ The decision to introduce a uniform price on 916 purity 22-carat gold has been taken at meeting between
Malabar Gold and Diamonds and All Kerala Gold and Silver Merchants Association.
➢ It offers an opportunity for consumers to purchase gold at a reasonable and transparent price.
2. Which conglomerate company will acquire German retailer, METRO AG's Cash & Carry business in India in a deal

➢ Aim: To support the new digital lending guidelines issued by RBI.

account, which was mandated by the RBI recently.
➢ It also make easier for NBFCs and Fintechs to work together more efficiently than ever before.
9. The IMF has agreed to support a package of how amount to Bangladesh to stabilize economy and protect the
vulnerable people _________$4.5 billion.
Note:
➢ Bangladesh is the third South Asian country, after Sri Lanka and Pakistan, to secure a bailout package from the
IMF.
➢ The amount will be disbursed in seven installments till December 2026.
➢ The first installment of $447.48 million will be cleared in February 2023.
➢ The Finance ministry officials calculated the interest rate to be around 2.2%.

UPI ecosystem.

to such banks, NPCI bridge this gap by extending all available features of UPI to these entities.

➢ The hydrogen fuel cell catamaran vessel will have a seating capacity for 100 passengers.
➢ The electric hybrid vessels, designed for short-distance commute in riverine waters, will have seating capacity
for 50 passengers.

➢ Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has announced that MMLP will be spread over 184 acres and cost Rs

➢ In October 2022, India has hosted two international events - The annual General Assembly of Interpol (Delhi)

1. Which state's Forest Department has signed for TOFI program with US Agency for International Development (USAID)
__________Haryana.
Note:
➢ TOFI refers to Trees Outside Forests in India.
➢ Aim: To enhance carbon sequestration, support local communities, and strengthen the climate resilience of
agriculture.
➢ This initiative also bring farmers, companies, and other private institutions together to rapidly expand tree
coverage outside of traditional forests in the state.
2. Which state govt has launched Technology Transfer Scheme, to reimburse the expense incurred by the startup
ventures to procure technology licenses from government research institutions ________Kerala.
Note:

➢ Under the project 'Technology Transfer Scheme', implemented through Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM), the
government will reimburse upto ₹10 lakh to startups purchasing or sourcing technology.
➢ It has invited applications from eligible startups to avail the benefits offered by the scheme.
3. Name the wildlife sanctuary has been declared as the 17th wildlife sanctuary of Tamil Nadu ___________Cauvery South
Wildlife Sanctuary.
Note:
➢ The sanctuary was notified under Section 26-A of the Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972.
➢ It covers reserve forest areas in Krishnagiri and Dharmapuri districts, which is a home to 35 species of
mammals, 238 species of birds and many more.
➢ This sanctuary will connect Cauvery North Wildlife Sanctuary (TN) with the Cauvery Wildlife Sanctuary
(Karnataka).
4. Which state's CM has announced to make its state slum-free by December, 2023 _________Odisha (CM: Naveen
Patnaik).

➢ He has also declared Hinjilih (his constituency) and Digapahandi town in Ganjam district as ‘slum free’ and

➢ He also declared that land rights will be given to 2.5 lakh families by next year.
