Virtualization State of The Art

Summary of Article 1st

It is said that virtualization technology has been common for already 40 years the
author says that the virtualization era is yet to come. Within several years, many
people will become a part of it. This article goal was to investigate the influence of
virtualization on a different company's business costs and improvements. The
article has proved the great savings which emerge even in medium to large
companies .According to this article it is said that virtualization reduced physical
resources according to survey of four years many physical resources are decreased
like servers due to virtualization .This article says that due to virtualization 73%
electricity is saved and 50% physical resources like servers decreased. Firstly they
have been calculated without virtualization and then after virtualization. By
comparing the calculated values, the economic effects of each cost category and
total economic effects have been calculated

Summary of Article 2nd

In this article there is investigation of how to change the paradigm that how to
model the next generation networking paradigm replace the existing system and
future challenges of virtualization state of art as it has been successfully realized, It
has many technical issues. Currently virtualization has been pushed for a long term
solution for ossification problem on internet. For overcome this ossification
problem there is cohibition of multiple heterogeneous network on a physical
substrate network which provides flexibility and security for the network. Network
virtualization is an integral part for next generation paradigm. According to them
network virtualization can eradicate the ossification problem by introducing
disruptive technologies.

Virtualization State of The Art

Summary of Article 3rd

The main goal of this researched article of virtualization is to find out whether
virtualization technology is used at schools or not and affect of this technology on
the pupils of schools whether they are developing in Information Technology field
or not . Initially they researched on fourty two schools it is possible to state that
virtualization technology is relatively frequently employed in teaching. It is an
integral part of education in nineteen schools and it reduces laboriousness
expenditures. the most frequently used virtualization tools are stated. According to
their availability, they are classified into three groups firstly commercial software
non-commercial software (tools for the desktop and infrastructural virtualization
provided free of charge), and cloud solutions (tools for the desktop, server and
service virtualization).

Summary of Article 4th

Virtualization in cloud computing has countless advantages however it has many

security threats which are serious and these can be in virtualized components (no
latest security patches, malware and ransomware attacks) due to not having
security training. Hence these threats have been less studied and less addressed by
most of the security application vendors. Hypervisor plays a central role in the
virtualization which is granted on host machine and it is preferred to be target the
virtualized infrastructure. In this article there is detailed survey of challenges
pertaining security in hardware assisted virtualization. Recent research reports
have indicated that the virtualization and hypervisor layer can be easily targeted for
exploiting vulnerabilities to bring down the whole infrastructure of computing.

Virtualization State of The Art

Summary of Article 5th

This article was about cloud computing adoption security issues that affect both the
cloud provider and the cloud user. They have provided several contributions to
secure clouds via virtualization In this article it has been showed that how
virtualization can increase the security of cloud computing. They proposed
Advanced Cloud Protection System (ACPS) which is for integrity of infrastructure
aimed at guaranteeing increased security to cloud resources. ACPS can locally
react to security breaches. A prototype of our ACPS proposal is fully implemented
firstly then results show that our proposal is resilient against attacks and that the
introduced overhead is small when compared to the provided features.
