    TASK 2: Some people regard video games as harmless fun, or even as a useful

    educational tool. Others, however, believe that video games having an adverse effect on
    the people who play them. In your opinion, do the drawbacks of video games outweigh
    the benefits?

    It is true that video games can be used as a tool for amusement or even education. While
    this KIND OF ENTERTAINMENT may bring some potential benefits, I believe that
    the drawbacks are greater.
    On the one hand, there are several positive impacts of video games. Firstly, playing video
    games is likely to be the best way for individuals to unwind after HARD HOURS OF
    WORK hard working hours. This means that THEREFORE, these games assist people
    to deal better with stressful situations and negative emotions THANKS TO ITS
    ENGAGING FEATURES. Secondly, computer games like brainstorming games
    inspire young people to extend their imagination, and creativity, as well as logical
    thinking and problem-solving skills like brainstorming games. Researchers show that
    playing Super Mario 64 leads to growth in areas of children's brains responsible for
    planning ahead, spatial navigation, and motor skills.
    On the other hand, a variety of problems ARISING FROM with video games can be
    anticipated. The main disadvantage of this would be gaming addiction which causes
    numerous related issues. If students spend excessive time playing games, their homework
    will be SACRIFICED FOR A FEW HOURS OF COMPUTER GAMES ignored in
    favor of computer time for a few hours, resulting in poor grades. Furthermore, too many
    hours spent playing computer games could lead to a rise in obesity due to a lack of
    physical activity……………. Another drawback is that some games, especially violent
    games, may teach CONTAIN wrong behaviors and pick up bad FOUL language THAT
    PEOPLE MAY BE NEGATIVELY AFFECTED. Therefore, gamers who play violent
    games may tend to act more violently and aggressively.
    In conclusion, although playing video games may have potential advantages, I believe
    that its disadvantages outweigh the advantages.
