    3.ODME SIMULATION TEST

    3.1Before Test ensure the following conditions are met

    -control air supply is on.


    -fresh water supply is on.
    -electrical supplies are on.
    -main control unit is switched on.
    -electro pneumatic unit is switched on.
    -starter box is switched on.
    -all manual valves in the system are open.
    -cargo pump is on stand by .

    3.1.1 Testing ODME

    1. Open FW valve- Foam room(one valve).


    2. Open air inlet (two) -Foam room.
    3. Sample out valve - Slop port ball valve open.
    4. Sample in valve - on overboard line,ball valve close.
    5. ODME transmitter box- all 3 valves close as well on overboard line 3 flow rate ball valve close.
    6. In front accommodation ODME box,( sample out valve open‘’drain valve’’).
    7. All drain valves close - on sample out line/sample in line.
    8. Turn ON ODME monitor in CCR –Switch in CTRL pos.(This ODME as per maker instruction before use must be reset)
    9.Reset ODME (take paperclip, make sure that power is on than press gentle and shortly the reset button).
    10.Check that ODME printer is working/confirm with bridge position,UTC time, speed of the vessel.
    11.Follow procedure from manual for testing.ALWAYS TESTING ODME IN MANUAL MODE
    During decanting operation ODME must use on AUTO MODE
