    Title:
    FLOAT LIFE: Life-saving Capsule Vehicle

    1. Why do you choose this study?

    Most of the time, when severe natural disasters strike us, there isn’t much
    we can do. In the long run, it wouldn’t matter how much cash you have in your
    pocket or how prepared you believe you are to be. However, the researchers
    have observed some alarming results from their findings, showing that in some
    instances, watercrafts have been fitted wrongly and endanger the lives of
    passengers. In that case, the researchers decided to innovate the survival
    capsule, which is one of the most important survivor vehicles in the marine
    sector. The capsule is developed as an evacuation device that could hold up to
    10-15 passengers so they may survive difficult circumstances including risks
    and emergency scenarios in the midst of marine accidents. The researchers
    have considered modifying its shape to resemble an unidentified flying object
    (UFO), for a distinctive appearance and to contain various components for
    enhanced performance. Thus, the researchers chose this topic because they
    believe that rescuing lives should be prioritized; they want to ensure that each
    and every passenger will be safe and secured when boarding ships. Also, to
    increase or awaken the knowledge of people in the shipping industry in the
    presence of a disaster. This topic is also dedicated not only to normal people
    but especially to people with disabilities as we know that it is not easy to act
    during a disaster.
    2. What is the purpose of this study?

    The purpose of this study is to innovate closed life-saving equipment


    onboard a ship that will be used in times of extreme emergencies for
    abandoning a ship and protecting the passengers. It will primarily serve as a
    tool for the quick and efficient removal of persons in need from the ship and
    assistance in getting them to a safe location. In this study, it will be possible to
    learn more about how to link contemporary technology and use it to save lives,
    as well as about the things that should be employed to make it simpler to
    protect the safety of people from leaving the ship if that becomes necessary.

    3. How is this study related to the degree you are currently studying?

    We are all aware that being a seafarer is one of the most prominent
    professions in the world. We travel across the ocean with no guarantee of
    complete safety and since marines work in oceans there's always a possibility
    that something bad may occur. So the researchers conducted a study to ensure
    the safety of everyone who works and boards on a ship. This product already
    exists, therefore the researchers decided to innovate it by improving its system
    and adding more equipment to make it more efficient. This study can be of
    great assistance to seafarers because it provides them with safety while also
    allowing them to work more quickly and efficiently.

    The Bachelor of Science in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering is a


    well-known degree/course that places a substantial focus on marine
    vessels/vehicles and a wide range of associated aspects. These aspects
    commonly include gaining knowledge, skills, and competence in the design,
    construction, installation, and operation of marine vessels, as well as of the
    machineries and systems for marine vehicles and structures. The
    aforementioned are acknowledged by the researchers to serve a significant part
    in the creation and operation of the output, making the study relevant to the
    degree we are currently studying. Furthermore, the study is centered on a
    marine vehicle, on which the degree is focused.
