Introduction
Vietnam Airlines is the priority of aviation choice and the country's flag airline, which is
outstanding in regional air travel. The aeronautic enterprise was established on May 27, 1995.
Since the business is more developed when equipped with more than 20 local and 30 overseas
destinations serviced by Vietnam Airlines with more than 120 routes. Thanks to its fleet of over
100 modern aircraft, Vietnam Airlines is the first airline in Asia-Pacific to operate the Boeing
787 and Airbus A350. The pride of Vietnam Airlines is the great satisfaction in providing its
customers with a plethora of servicing and reliable time performance, uncompromising safety,
and top-notch services through the flights. In addition, the aviation enterprise, which comes from
Vietnam, sustained a 4-star rating from Stravinsky for four years, which means Vietnam Airlines
will catch 5 stars shortly.

I. An overview of the Digital Business Transformation plan.
Especially, Vietnam Airlines is transforming the Digital Business sooner such as Human
Resource Manage. The aviation enterprise has some new steps when they want to become a
Digital Aviation so HRM is one of the important stages to reduce the time of the recruiting
process.

Additionally, VNA has been utilizing a variety of digital technologies like accounting software,
point-of-sale systems, information management systems, etc. to improve business operations'
efficiency. For VNA, this will boost earnings, boost productivity, and cut costs. Dang Ngoc Hoa,
chairman of the board of directors, agrees that VNA will soon complete its digital transformation
with the help of strong partners and the commitment of senior executives and members.

Communications and procedures can be transformed by the usage of QR codes. Simply scan the code to
view a person's phone number, location, or business description. Limited in that you may rapidly search
for friends on social networks like Facebook, Line, etc. using the QR code provided to you by the
platform's developers so that QR code is seems to simple plan but its extremely tidy way for the business
in long-term. In addition, Vietnam Airlines has the long round to recruit employees with lots of
conditions for candidates applying the job.

Vietnam Airlines is the best choice for customers so their recruiting staff or pilot are special processes
with a plethora of standards that employees need to respond to them. Thus, the time spent on the
recruitment process is more time than any business recruitment leading to some trouble with the shortage
of staff. A Digital Business Transformation plan is more important with aviation enterprises and they
rapidly produce the tool for HR that is QR for the method of recruitment which is more convenient for
employees and employers because they can check QR to apply for a job anywhere, anytime if they have
enough standards to become Vietnam Airlines staff.

II. An analysis of key internal and external factors affecting the
preparation of human resources to support this DX plan.
A. The impact of key internal factor
Definition of internal factor: Whatever is found within the organization and is in its control,
whether it be something physical or abstract, is referred to be an internal factor. After being
determined, these variables are categorized into the company's strengths and weaknesses. One
factor has been deemed a strength if it has favorable consequences on the business. On the other
side, a factor is a weakness if it inhibits the company's growth. Several factors must be taken into
account inside the firm. These could be advantageous or harmful. Making decisions will be made
easier if you have positive ideas rather than negative ones. Fear is a typical internal component
that has a detrimental impact on judgment.
 Finance: Most terms lack sufficient sources of finance so Finance belongs to one of the
important internal elements. Firms can either seek additional sources of finance or use
alternative ways to achieve their objectives.
 People: the relationship between staff and manager is extremely essential. Working
relations affect a firm’s ability to achieve its goals. Motivational strategies can help
improve conflicts in the workplace.
 Marketing: Their marketing campaigns are more attractive than their rivals, such as
interior products, packaging, customer service, and promotions will become a large
priority in the marketplace competition.
 Production: To increase its overall efficiency and competitiveness, techniques and stock
control systems may be upgraded.

The impact of key internal factor

The corporation has control over these aspects, in contrast to the outside world. Outside of a
company's activities, it is critical to identify prospective possibilities and risks. However, the
secret to a successful firm is controlling the advantages of internal operations. In addition,
internal factors will affect lots of on every decision of business such as ( Fripp, G, 2015):

 The strength of employees: Employees are essential to a successful business. However, there
are dangers attached to them. Strike action might cause a lot of issues for the industry.
 Financial: The financial risks are based on how your company is set up financially. Additionally,
it is reliant on the financial systems and your commercial activities. Changes in interest rates or
being unduly dependent on a single client, for instance, might have an impact on the company.
B. The impact of key external factor
Definition of external factor: External influences are components that have an impact on a
company’s performance and outcomes from the outside. The economic, political, and social
environments of the places where the corporation works frequently include these elements.

 Economic - For instance, inflation and unemployment Political - For instance, new laws
 Social - Shifts in preferences and styles or growth in a group's purchasing power, such as older
people
 Technology – such as the ability to sell products online or the use of automation in factories
 Environmental - For instance, how the weather affects business or manufacturing, and the rising
trend of being "green," such as recycling

The impact of key external factor
External factors, in contrast to internal ones, impact variables the organization has no control
over. Businessmen can make appropriate modifications to their marketing strategy to make it
more receptive to the external environment by taking into account the external environment.
Several characteristics are regarded as external factors. The present economic position,
legislation, local infrastructure, and client requests must be noted among the most notable and
significant ones. Although external elements are uncontrolled, these still affect lots of harmful or
useful things in the organization.
III. A proposal of a motivation plan (including
learning, and rewarding plans) to engage employees in this
plan.
A. Learning plan
Definition: A learning & Developing plan is referred to as L&D. Providing workers with the
information and skills they need to advance in their positions and aid in the expansion of the
business is one of the key duties of every organization's HR department (Specht, M, 2022).

Types of training programs-source: Sogno

The proposal for training for Vietnam Airlines:

Instructor-led training: When an instructor leads a training session for a class of students or a
single learner, this is known as instructor-led training (ILT). Although it can be delivered in
person or online, it's crucial that the students can communicate with the teacher in real time for
questions and answers.

The company should determine exact targets on the type of training to develop their Human
Resource including:

 Internal: choosing employees and lecturers carefully to guarantee their expertise and teaching
background.
 External: select trustworthy, affordable partners.
 Budgeting for training approaches
 Setting training schedules and locations
In terms of resources, Vietnam Airlines choose professors and looks like:
Following: Creation of several instructional programs and curricula, as well as the organization
and training of full-time and part-time instructors.
training structure with methodological details (presentation, audiovisual). The innovative
combination of methods (equipment simulation). Having a mining facility make private and the
public is advantageous to the corporation. A group of instructors at Bay Viet includes captains
and pilot instructors. Many highly skilled individuals, both domestically and internationally, will
be chosen for the teaching team, including Captain - Principal of Nguyen Nam Lien Flight
School with 20000 hours of flying experience and Lecturer Albert Tiong from Malaysia with
more than 6 years of experience. The training materials are divided into three categories: coach,
conversion, and main training.

B. Rewarding plan
Definition: When an employer or employee receives a prize for their dedication to the company,
it serves as an incentive program to reinforce the desired behavior. The compensation might take
the form of a wage or it can be non-financial, such as an award for exceptional service to the
business or just a job the person likes performing. Achieving competent, high-performing, and
engaged employees are the main objective of incentive corporations.
Types of rewarding plan-source: air
The proposal for rewarding Vietnam Airlines:

Non-finance and finance reward plan is still important for Vietnam Airlines employees. From my
view of point, the non-monetary incentive is an essential idea because of the quality of an
aviation career. The pilot and staff will spend more time in their time doing so that some daily
vacations will be relaxed and help them decrease the pressure during serving customers. The
reward will be ranked by some elements (Verlinden, N, 2021):

 the business performance of Vietnam Airlines,

 the function’s level of task completion
 the KPI performance (quantity/quality, revenues, flight output, etc.) of each individual.

Additional perks and incentives include group optional pension insurance, family and employee
health insurance, and annual vacation benefits. Fare reduction and the exemption will continue to
be put into action. Social insurance will also provide that it complies with all regulations and
under terms that are more favorable than the rules.
IV. Apply HRM practices in a work-related context,
using specific examples to demonstrate improvement to
sustainable organizational performance
Group behavior: describes how people act when they are in a large or small group. There are
several reasons why people join groups, but the main one is that it fills a personal need.
Companionship, survival and security, affiliation status, power and control, and accomplishment
may all be derived through group participation. There is presently no one definition of what
makes up a group, however, research has found certain common characteristics that help us
recognize groups.

Group behaviour example-source: slideplayer

Apply to Vietnam Airlines group:

Vietnam Airlines is the best aviation group so the process of serving customers seems to catch
perfectly. Throughout the flight, every staff will be allocated jobs and they know exactly what
they will do and provide high-quality service to adapt to the demand of customers. The only
reason that achieves Vietnam Airlines is that working in a group is extremely good. A large
group such as VNA will not have big success nowadays if they do not have a
chain of employees and an effective group.

Leadership: is a skill that managers and supervisors use to inspire their teams and ensure they
deliver the results required to move organizations forward.

The atmosphere of an organization, which is directly influenced by leadership, accounts for

around one-third of its financial outcomes. Nearly 50% of the difference between successful and
failed transformation is down to leadership style.

Leadership-source: northwestern
Apply to Vietnam Airlines group:

Vietnam Airlines has good leadership when they are not only managed well but also have more
policies for helping the human resource in lots of fields such as:

In the medium scenario, GDT employs 60% of the resources in the 2020 Plan. Prioritize the
labor agreement for goods, digital transformation, and restructuring to concentrate on increasing
sales and events across the TCT organization and system. The Corporation also keeps unique
cases set up to help and share with employees, such as pregnant female employees, parents of
young children, injured workers, occupational disease sufferers receiving treatment, etc. To
generate resources and keep a skilled workforce for TCT, the Corporation simultaneously hired
young ground workers with the necessary skills, morale, and working conditions.

 The best group not only has a plethora of achievements but also has good leadership. The
high position that can take care of all staff and has an affect vision so that everyone can
dedicate everything that essence for the company and that is the thing VNA group caught
through the process of establishing aviation group.

Conclusion
Vietnam Airlines is becoming more and more successful both domestically and internationally.
Along with other commercial and professional accomplishments, human resources are crucial in
the process of developing a strong airline brand for Vietnam. Every stage of the production or
operation of passengers and goods benefits from the labor of the workforce, but compensation
practices also encourage employees to put up unceasing effort toward a goal. a shared objective
of building a powerful firm.
