3. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
AFTER INHALATION
If inhaled, remove to fresh air. If breathing becomes difficult, call a physician.
AFTER SKIN CONTACT
In case of contact, immediately wash skin with soap and copious amounts of water. Remove
contaminated clothing shoes. Call a physician.
AFTER EYE CONTACT
In case of contact, immediately flush eyes with copious amounts of water for at least 15 minutes.
Assure adequate flushing by separating the eye lids with finger. Call a physician.
AFTER INGESTION
If swallowed, wash out mouth with water provided person is conscious. Call physician.
5. FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES
Suitable extinguishing media : Use the following extinguishing media when fighting fires.
Water spray
Carbon dioxide (CO2)
Appropriate foam
Dry chemical powder
Special risks
Specific Hazard(s): emits toxic fumes under fire conditions.
Special protective equipment for fire-fighters: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and
protective clothing to prevent contact with skin and eyes.
Personal precautions: Wear respirator, chemical safety goggles, rubber boots, and heavy rubber
gloves.
Methods of cleaning up: Sweep up, place in a bag and hold for waste disposal. Avid raising dust.
Ventilate area and wash spill site after material pick is complete.
Handling: Directions for Handling: Avoid inhalation. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing.
Avoid prolonged or repeated exposure.
Storage: Condition for storage: Keep tightly closed. Store in a cool dry place away from sunlight.
Periodically dump with clean water.
ENGINEERING COMTROLS Safety shower and eye bath. Mechanically exhaust required.

Skin Contact: May cause skin irritation.
Skin absorption: may be harmful if absorbed through the skin.

Inhalation: may be harmful if inhaled. Material may be irritating to mucous
membranes and upper respiratory tract.
Ingestion: may be harmful if swallowed.
Limited effects are expected from exposure of the environmental compartments by insoluble plastic
beads of large diameter (300 to 1200 microns).
SUBSTANCE DISPOSAL
Contact a licensed professional waste disposal service to dispose of this material. Dissolve or mix the
material with a combustible solvent and burn in a chemical incinerator equipped with an after burner
and scrubber. Observe all federal, State, and local environmental regulations.
