Data
Construction
Ladder Trays
Straight sections to be manufactured in 3 metre and 6 metre lengths. Side rails shall have
a “C” configuration [flange facing inward] with the upper flange rolled downwards for
added rigidity as well as ensuring smooth edges for the protection of personnel and of
the cable jacket.
Ventilated Tray
To be manufactured in 3 metre and 6 metre lengths. Side rails shall have a “C”
configuration with the upper flange rolled downwards for added rigidity. Transverse
elements shall have a maximum of 100 mm (4”) open spacing measured parallel to
the tray siderail as per CSA C22.2 No.126.1-98.
Solid Tray
To be manufactured in 3 metre and 6 metre lengths. Side rails shall have a “C” configu-
ration with the upper flange rolled downwards for added rigidity. The tray bottom for
6 metre shall be solid sheet welded below supporting rungs on 18” rung spacing.
Cable clamps and/or cable ties should be accommodated without drilling or tapping.
Note for CSA Class C1, a one piece solid tray is available.
