1.Thirsty Crow

There was a crow. He was very thirsty. He flew here and there. He saw a jug. The water was low in

One day a lion was sleeping. A mouse began to jump on his body. The lion woke up. He caught the
mouse. He wanted to kill it. The lion felt pity and spared it. After some days the lion was caught in
a trap. The mouse reached there. It cuts the ropes with its teeth.

Moral:1. Do good have good . 2. Tit for tat.

4. A Foolish Stag

Once a stag was drinking water. He saw his shadow. He was happy to see his beautiful Horns. He
was sad to see his thin legs. He saw some hounds. He ran for his life. His legs helped him. His
horns caught in a bush. The hounds reached and killed him.

Moral : 1. Pride hath a fall 2. All the glitter is not gold.

5. Honesty is the best policy

Once a wood cutter was cutting a tree. His axe fell into the water. The angel brought out a golden
axe. He said, “ It is not mine.” The angel brought a silver axe . He refused again. The angel dived
and brought out an iron axe . He cried happily “ This is mine.” The angel was pleased with him
and gave him other two axes.

6. A Strange Hen
Once a man had a hen. The hen laid a golden egg daily. The man was greedy . He wanted to be
