A descriptive text describes particular person, animal, place or thing. You write descriptive text when you
want your reader picture what you’re describing

When you want to describe particular person, you can tell the reader what he/she looks like and what
she/he like. It means that you show the readers about the appearance or the personality of the person you
describe.

I am Lestari Permadani. You can call me Tari. I’m sixteen years old and I’m student at SMAN 2.

I am a good Student and have a good grades, so my parents allow me to join a bands as my hobby. I’m
the lead singer. I’m very sociable and friendly girl. I have many friends all over the world. I meet them
online through my personal page on facebook.

My parents always remind me to stay healty. So, I do some exercise early in the morning before I go to
school. I am 155 cm tall and I’m quite slim and energetic. Since childhood, my parent took me to a dance
class. Dancing has taught me discipline. My parent always tell me that discipline is important in life.

We live on the outskirts of Surabaya. Our house is quite nice. It has four bedrooms, a toilet, a bathroom,
a living room, a dining room, a studio, a kitchen, a hall, and a garage. The garage is where my band mates
and I practice our songs and covers, before performing at the weekends at the local cafes or other venues.
We are amateurs but we love playing music.

My mother is a neurologist at the local hospital. And my father is a judge at the local court. My mother
works shift and her job is very demanding and tiring. But she feels quite happy when she saves people’s
live. She’s very nice to all her patients. As a mother, she is very strict and she always checking if I am doing
well at school. My father also worries about how I manage my studies with the band. He doesn’t tolerate
bad grades or I’ll lose the right to be part of my band. I have got two younger twin sister. They drive me
crazy because I think they are so childish. Well, after all they are only six years old. They are also a good
students. When my parents work, I have to baby sit them! What a burden.

he was not born from a rich family. He had to work hard to succeed and achieve everything he now has
in life. Pierre was born in Toulouse in the southwestern France. His father ran a small handbag shop. He
liked to spend his time in the shop. He was very interested in the designs of the handbag that most
people like. So, Pierre dreamed of becoming a well-known handbag designer.

He is a hard-working man. He tried hard to realize his dream. Although he had a hard life in the
