1. Write down at least five (5) similarities and five (5) differences of the mission,
vision and goals of CTU and the Coed BTLED Outcomes. Explain why they are
similar and different. Give examples.
Similarities
The goals of CTU is to prepare students for their upcoming future relating to the
course they chose
It aims to provide accessible education to everyone
The main purpose is for the betterment of the education system for the students
It's well versed on the goal of implementing technology in education
It's more centered technology being used in educational purposes
Differences
2. Examine your house and take note on the different things that are not properly
arranged. Compare it the basic Classroom Rules in your notes. Give the best solution
in this problem.
The things that are not properly arranged are clothes, shoes, toys, school
materials, bags and etc. Compared to our classroom rules, the rules are more
organized and systematic. The best solution to this problem is to arrange the
things in your house, clean it and organize it well in order to have a pleasing
surroundings.
3. Pick one course content in your syllabus and explain why this is relevant in this
subject using your prior knowledge.
Cultural Adaptation
It is relevant to this subject in order to gain knowledge, ideas, and information, to
know how that certain culture was being adapted by, it also helps us accept the new
changes, it promotes better participation and engagement with a program and helps
us know what are the processes in Cultural adaptation. In order for us to know the
history of how that certain culture was adapted. And to know the advantages of
adapting culture as well as the disadvantages.
Compare the similarities on the different standards created by CHED and UNESCO
2017 on ICT standards to the DEPED ICT standard in PPST to the ISTE Standards.
Write the equivalents and their common features.

ICT LITERACY- using digital technology, communications tools, and/or networks to
access, manage, integrate, evaluate, and create information in order to function in a
knowledge society.
DIGITAL LITERACY- means having the skills you need to live, learn, and work in a
society where communication and access to information is increasingly through digital
technologies like internet platforms, social media, and mobile devices. Developing your
critical thinking skills.
DIGITAL LEARNING- a learning method based on the use of new digital tools to
enable learners to learn in a different way, whether it be face-to-face, distance learning
(asynchronous or synchronous) or blended learning.
OFF-LINE DIGITAL TOOLS AND APPS- these are software applications and tools that
could still work and. function in the absence of internet connection.
VLOG- Vlog stands for a video blog or video log, and refers to a type of blog where most
or all of the content is in a video format. Vlog posts consist of creating a video of
yourself where you talk on a particular subject such as reporting or reviewing a
product or an event.
FACEBOOK- Facebook is a website which allows users, who sign-up for free profiles,
to connect with friends, work colleagues or people they don't know, online. It allows
users to share pictures, music, videos, and articles, as well as their own thoughts and
opinions with however many people they like.
VOIP- Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), is a technology that allows you to make voice
calls using a broadband Internet connection instead of a regular (or analog) phone
line.
PODCAST- a digital audio file made available on the internet for downloading to a
computer or mobile device, typically available as a series, new installments of which
can be received by subscribers automatically.
WIKI- A wiki is a hypertext publication collaboratively edited and managed by its own
audience, using a web browser. A typical wiki contains multiple pages for the subjects
or scope of the project, and could be either open to the public or limited to use within
an organization for maintaining its internal knowledge base.
WEB ACCESS- Web access means having a connection to the World Wide Web
through an access provider or an online service provider such as America Online. For
data access, access is usually specified as read-only access and read/write access
