 Why study the Life and Works of Rizal?

 The life and works of Dr. Jose P. Rizal flow in Philippine


history and his love for the country became the inspiration
of the Filipinos in different eras. His brilliance in philosophy
gave us another source of principle in our history and
government. His works served not only the mirror of the
society during the time of Spanish colonization but also
enlightened us Filipinos.

 How would reading Rizal’s novel impart patriotism?

 Jose Rizal is a determined man who wanted a peace by


creating political to fight and get their freedom back. Many
people are inspired by Jose P. Rizal because he wanted a
freedom. Jose P. Rizal wrote two novels the Noli Me
Tangere and El Filibusterismo to show people how the
Philippine being boudaged by Spain.
 Reflect on the Secondary Education: Did your school comply
with RA 1425? How effective is Rizal Law in instilling patriotism
and nationalism among secondary school students?

 Yes, RA 1425 is the Rizal Law, is the study of Rizal’s life and
works. Rizal also inspires and influence us to be a selfless
and socially responsible for the country. It also patriotism
that empower a individual to think not of what is good for
her self, but of what is good for the nation for that
moment, and generations to come.

1. As a student, how would you view Jose Rizal as our


National Hero?

- Jose Rizal became a national hero in the Philippines


because he battled for freedom in a quiet but
effective manner. "He was the most diversely
talented person who ever lived." Rizal fought by
writing, which enlightened many Filipinos. Nobility
and Dignity Rizal's methods set him apart from the
rest.
2. Is the study of the Life and Works of Rizal is still in
need or in demand today to help you students on
building the sense of nationality?

-The study of Dr. Jose Rizal's life is significant and


necessary for Filipinos since he is a symbol of
inspiration for the Filipino youth.
To all students/children/people in the Philippines
must understand what Dr. Jose Rizal was fighting
for. Filipino children must also understand that, like
Rizal, they may defend their nation without
resorting to violence.
He was able to battle the colonizers with nothing
more than a pen and paper.
