 Kevin L. Manuel of 513 Quirino St. died at 7 p.m. at St. Aquinas hospital,
where he had been taken following the accident.

 A passenger in Manuel’s car, Alfred De Guzman, 16, was injured. He is in


satisfactory condition at the hospital.

 According to Manuel’s teachers, he is a very responsible student.

 Police said Manuel’s car was destroyed. Damage was estimated at


P50,000.00 for the bus and P20,000.00 for Anderson's car.

 A 16-year-old student was killed this morning.

 Also injured was Ruth L. Pascua, 42. She was hurt after Manuel’s car and
the school bus collided and Manuel’s car skidded into hers.

 Kevin L. Manuel was born on January 6, 2003.

 Police said the accident occurred as Manuel attempted to turn left from
Marcos on to Aquino Avenue. He turned into the path of the school bus,
which was headed north on Marcos. The bus, driven by Lindell B. Valle,
24, struck the left side of Manuel’s car.

 Kevin Manuel was killed when his car collided with an empty school bus
at Marcos and Aquino Avenue.

 Manuel’s car crossed the southbound lane and traveled 54 feet north of
the intersection, where Manuel’s car struck Pascua which was
southbound on Aquino Avenue. Her car was forced off the road and into
a ditch, police said.

 Police Col. Chito Bersaluna, Bulacan police director, said Teodorico Perez,
Roy Manabat and Edward Liban exchanged gunshots with policemen
during the anti-narcotics operations.

 The three suspects wore maong pants and black shirts.

 Perez was killed in Norzagaray town about 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday


while Manabat was shot dead in Bustos town at 10:35 p.m. on Tuesday.

 Liban was gunned down in Norzagaray at 9:45 p.m., also on Tuesday.

 The suspects were killed in Camp Gen. Alejo Santos, Bulacan

 Seized from the slain suspects were 35 sachets of suspected “shabu”


(crystal meth), two .38-caliber guns and a .22-caliber firearm.

 One of the suspects, Edward Liban, is a breadwinner in their family .

 Three drug suspects were killed in separate buy-bust operations

 Bersaluna said 33 other people with standing warrants of arrests for


various crimes were also arrested in their Simultaneous Anti Criminality
Law Enforcement Operation.
