wrong and what the consequences could be. Then we must do whatever is reasonably practicable to
eliminate or minimize the health and safety risks arising.
To manage risks, we must first identify all potential hazards associated with unpacking shipping
containers, assess them where necessary, and then eliminate the hazards so far as is reasonably
practicable. If it is not reasonably practicable to eliminate this hazard, the risk must be controlled.
The controls should be subject to the requirements of ‘what is reasonably practicable.
Safety is one of the most important factors for us when we work at the site and a large part of
planning the work at site involves how to work in the safest possible manner and be highly efficient
and prepared for emergencies.
A Safety Risk Assessment (“SRA”) has been carried out for this stage of the project. The SRA is
important to pinpoint potential safety hazards and address them accordingly by taking the necessary
precautions.
Refer to the site safety policy for general safety controls. One of the main aspects of this procedure
is Safety and Health Control.
This is to control occurrence of injuries as well as damage to equipment and properties during the
entire construction period.
In order to ensure a safe working environment during the entire construction period, the following
safety measures will be implemented:
