    1. What do you know about The Galapagos Islands?
    I know that the Galapagos Islands constitute an archipelago in
    the Pacific Ocean and is made up of 13 large volcanic islands, 6
    smaller islands and 107 rocks and islets.
    2. Read the text about the Birth of the Internet. Then, look at the
    verbs and then put them in their corresponding box.

    ADJETIVES ACTIVITIES
    Fascinating. Hiking.
    Unique. Biking.
    Inspirational. Snorkeling.
    Small. Kayaking.
    Hidden. Scuba diving.
    Delightful.
    Unforgettable.

    3. Read the Vocabulary. Then the words with correspond meaning


    and picture.
    4. According to the reading write true or false in the following
    sentences.

     Activities like hiking to the top of volcanoes, biking lava trails,


    snorkeling through lava tunnels, kayaking to view wildlife and
    scuba diving.
     Witness a several abundance of wildlife in a setting
     unlike any other on the planet.
    5. After the reading about the Galapagos answer the following
    questions.
     Do you like to be a tourist? Why or why not?
    Yes, I do like being a tourist because I like to discover new places
    and learn about their culture.
     Have you ever been to the Galapagos Islands?
    I have never been to the Galapagos Island.
     Do you like when tourists visit your hometown? Why or
    why not?
    Yes, it moves me a lot to know that people are interested in our
    culture and our city and thus the country would be a tourist
    place.
     Why do you think the Galapagos Islands Have So many
    tourists? Is it good or bad? Explain.
    Galapagos Island has a lot of tourists because its islands are
    very beautiful and you have unique species of animals and its
    attractions make tourists attract a lot of attention and I think it
    is very good that tourists come because they help with the
    economy of the island.
    6. Brainstorm some ideas about postcards.
     Do you know what a postcard is?
    Yes, it is a rectangular piece of cardboard, or thin cardboard,
    prepared to write and send by traditional mail, without the
    need to use an envelope.
     Have you ever sent one?
    I have never sent a postcard.
     Have you ever received one?
    No I haven't received a postcard yet.
     Would you like to write one?
    Yes, I would love to write one.

    Hello dear Zamir!
    how are you? I hope you are very well!
    I tell you I am very excited because I
    came to visit one of my favorite islands
    and the best thing is that I came with
    my whole family and best of all that my
    grandfather hired a tour guide to take
    us to the most visited places on the Zamir Fernández
    island and he took us to Santa Cruz
    Island, Isabela Island and finally to San AV. Pacifico Gordillo
    Cristobal Island, it was one of the most
    beautiful tours I have ever had, I fell in y Luis Florencia
    love with each of these islands.
