Smooth and steady ADHD symptom

control throughout the day

Your Doctor Discussion Guide

ADHD can affect each phase of your child’s day. Many ADHD medications only work for parts of the day. This means your
child may still be struggling at different times, including mornings, late afternoons, or evenings. If your child’s current ADHD
medication isn’t providing a smooth, long-lasting experience, it may be time to explore other treatment options.

This guide can help you have a better conversation with your child’s doctor. Answer the questions below and bring
this with you to their next appointment.

THINK ABOUT YOUR CHILD’S FULL DAY.

ASK YOURSELF: NO YES IF YES, EXPLAIN:

Does my child still struggle with getting ready for school,

especially before their medication starts to work?

Does my child’s ADHD medication schedule

dictate our family’s morning routine?

Does my child do well with morning schoolwork

but struggle with their afternoon schoolwork or
after-school activities?

Does my child’s current ADHD medication seem to

work unevenly or wear off before the day is over?

During this drop-off period, does my child’s

mood or behavior change?

Does this change in mood or behavior affect their

relationships with family, friends, or classmates?

Does my child struggle with trying to complete

homework or tasks after their current ADHD
medication wears off?

Does my child have trouble winding down at night?

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, your child’s current ADHD medication may not be helping
them get the most out of their day. JORNAY PM could help your child all day and into the evening—from
waking up to winding down.

Please see Important Safety Information on pages 2-4.
