My full name’s Pham Thi KhanH Linh and I ‘m 21 years old. Currently, I’m A fourth- year student of
management information systerms at HCM of Banking (HUB).
I live in the dormitory on campus with my friends. I like reading books. I want to improve my English
skill and I’m glad to be here. I come from Dak Lak province.

1. Do you like your school? Why?

Yes, I like. Because my lecturers are very enthusiastic and the students are very friendly.
Beside, my school is one of the top 4 schools for economic, a famous for Banking.

Yes, of course, I do. Because my school is located in a very large and beautiful campus with a
lot of trees around the school- yard. The lecture hall buildings are newly- build, moderm, and
comfortable. The school library is very convennient with a lot of books for the student to study and do
their reseacher. The school domitory is large and comfordable for the students to live in. the teachers
are qualified and enthusiatic. The students are hard- woring and frienly.

2. Have you been to any other towns in your country? where

Yes. I have been. Last summer I had the opportunity to go to VT. This is one of the great tourist
destinations that I have been to. After a week in VT, I felt happy and stronger. I hope to go there again.

3. How many brother and sister have you got?

I have a younger brother. He is 11 years old. He is studying at Hoang Hoa Tham secondary school.

I go to school on foot because I live in the dormitory on campus.
2/ How long does it take for you to travel from home to school?
It takes me 5 minutes to travel from domirtory to school.

3/ What sports do you like?

My favorite sport is badminton, and I think it is a suitable sport for girls like me. Most of my
girlfriends choose it as their main subject in Physical Education class, and we can both have fun and
improve our health by it.

 For me the easiest subject in school is physical education. Because, this subject has exercises that are
not too difficult and especially do not need to think much, it just needs us to perform the correct
movements under the guidance of the instructor.

DESCRIBE YOUR BEDROOM
I share my room with my sister, so our room has a lot of things. Almost everything goes in double –
double beds, double tables,.... On the wall is a small television, but we rarely watch it. Near my bed is a
tall wardrobe that I use to hang my clothes, and right next to it is a smaller closet that I store some
other things. My room really matches my personality, and I love spending time there.

DESCRIBE YOUR SCHOOL
Today, I am very happy to tell you about my school. I am 3rd year student at Banking University. It is
located at Hoang Dieu 2 Street, Linh Chieu Ward, Thu Duc City of Ho Chi Minh City. The school
consists of 3 large lecture halls, and especially there is a large library in the middle of the campus.
There are two lecture halls of the school are equipped with air conditioning, modern teaching facilities
and free wifi system. The school also has a sports complex. Here students can study and exercise
everyday.

DESCRIBE YOUR LIVINGROOM
My house has many rooms but perhaps the most beautiful is the living room. My father likes the light
color so he paints it blue. This is probably the largest room in the house and quite convenient. In the
center of the room is a sofa, sitting on it feels very soft. Next to it is the glass shelf to contain TV.
All members in my family love this room so much, we keep it always clean and neat. The living room
becomes more comfortable to welcome the members back home after a stressful day.

Today, I am very happy to tell you about the city that I live in, it is Ho Chi Minh City, the largest city
in Vietnam and also the most crowded city. it also has a more familiar name that is SaiGon. The roads
in Sai Gon are always full of vehicles, tall buildings are everywhere, and people are always busy. Sai
Gon is likened to a city that never sleeps. This is a lovely place to live.

DESCRIBE WHAT YOU USUALLY DURING THE WEEKEND
Well, I usually stay home on a weekend, and sometimes. Since I went to school and work Monday
through Saturday, I try to stay home over the weekend and refresh myself for the upcoming weekday
challenges and then I will go to dinner with my friends and see a movie in the evening.

ENGLISH
I think english is important because of the followinng reasons:
Firstly, English is the most used language in the world. Learning English is important as it enables you
to communicate easily with your global friends.
Secondly, English serves a lot for learning. Learning English is also an important condition for you to
access and update knowledge from all over the world.
Finally, English helps to have good job opportunities. If you know English, you will easily get a good
job with a high salary. In conclusion, these are all the reasons why English is important to me.
INTERNET
The internet give a lot of helpful aspects. Firstly, the internet can help you connect with friends and
relatives through social network sites such as Facebook, Google, Gmail, Instagram,… Secondly, the
internet can be considered as a storehouse of unlimited knowledge. It helps us easily and quickly find
information. Finally, the internet is very important in the field of education. You can study online with
teachers through the internet. In short, the internet brings us a variety of great benefit.

In my free time, I like playing some sports, such as badminton or basketball, with my friends. Sport not
only makes me stronger but also connects me with my friends who have the same hobbies. If the
weather is not fine enough for me to hang out with my friends, I like to read books. it is a hobby that is
useful and interesting: useful because you can find a lot of knowledge of all areas that you need.

READING BOOKS IS GOOD FOR YOUR MEMORY
Reading book is good habit for health, especially for the brain. It can help us boost our brain’s
performane as well as the memory which could also increase strengthen our concentration. When
reading a book, you can easily stop and think so that you can understand more deeply and thoroughly
each layer of the meaning of the word. This completely different from watching movies or listening to
tapes.

The fact that each student chooses a bus to go to school every day has contributed to reducing personal

Well, I have become a university student but my soul is still like a child, so I love watching
cartoons. Although they seem simple and innocent, there are often a lot of life lessons wrapped up in
these films. In addition, there are some very funny movies like Larva, Oggy and cockroaches... they
keep me entertained after a stressful day at work.

I really like reading books. I mainly enjoy reading adventure and motivational novels. Reading
helps me expand my knowledge. There are hundreds of books and in each book there are always
different messages that have changed my outlook on life. Reading regularly will help us practice
patience and fluency.
