    Greater equipment versatility with Hamm padfoot shell kits


    With Hamm padfoot shell kits a Hamm smooth drum self
    propelled vibratory compactor can be easily and
    economically converted to a padfoot compactor.

    • Remove scrapers from smooth drum


    • Place drum on two square timbers
    • Lift up first segment, place between drum and tie-bar
    and adjust
    • Place second segment on drum and bolt together
    • Attach new padfoot scrapers
    • Move roller forward and install third segment

    Smooth drum vibratory compactors with mounted padfoot


    shell kits increase the utilization of the roller for use in
    cohesive and non-cohesive soils.

    Padfoot segments can be detached at any time.
