    Fifteen-year-old Zim, a Hanazi who doesn't know he's one, is destined to return magic, lost for

    over five decades, back to the Hanazis. His adventure starts on a Tuesday morning, days after his
    father's sudden death, when he wakes up and finds himself strangely chatting with a bird perched
    by his window. The bird reveals some secrets about Zim's life and personal history to him, and
    finally leads him out of their apartment to the land of the Hanazis. Upon arrival, Zim receives an
    unexpected warm welcome from the Hanazis who are very much aware of his existence and how
    special he is, and have been, in fact, long expecting him. Zim spends the next five months with
    fellow Hanazis, learning about and practicing magic, and getting ready to face the dreaded
    Yakini, who took magic away from the Hanazis decades ago.
