    Instruction: In no more than 50 words, answer each of the questions below. (2 items x 10 points)

    1. After reading the article, and based on the class discussions, would you recommend the use of
    nanotechnology in food items or food packaging? Why or why not?

    - for food and its packaging i would not recommend nanotechnology because even though it has many
    promising results on food preservation using the nanomaterial to protect the food from moisture, odors and off
    flavor odor. The safety of everyone and our environment should be the most priority while dealing with the
    development of nanotechnology in food systems and those Nano foods should be tested before it is being
    released to the market.

    2. How can humans avoid the possible damaging effects of nanotechnology?


    To reduce the nanoparticle dissolution to toxic ions the toxic species are often replaced with less toxic
    elements that have similar properties the nanoparticle will be capped with a shell material the morphology of
    the nanoparticle are often chosen to reduce area and thus minimize dissolution or a chelating. Have
    employees add ventilated enclosures. Provide local exhaust ventilation if operation can't be enclosed. Provide
    handwashing facilities. Set procedures for cleanup. Provide workers with personal protective equipment
