The Mesosphere Mindset

“There are some people who live in a dream world,

and there are some who face reality; and then there
are those who turn one into the other.”
-Douglas H. Everett

Mission Statement
If you do not perceive your dreams and long-term goals to be one and the same, your current mindset is
not yet where it needs to be. Anything is possible if you put in the work to develop your mindset,
knowledge, and skills. It is up to you to decide what you want your life to look like and pave the path
towards achieving your goals. The Mesosphere Mindset aims to arm you with the tools necessary to
conquer anything that stands in your way and inspires you to take action to spark meaningful change in
your life and the world around us.

Philosophy

1. Higher Standards
We are often told that we must separate our dreams from reality. To have a “realistic” outlook on life.
That it is not okay to keep your head up in the clouds and we need to come back down to Earth. At The
Mesosphere Mindset, we embrace the “head in the clouds” idea. Instead of lowering our standards, we
elevate our abilities to meet those expectations, one step at a time.

2. Unyielding
The Mesosphere Mindset is resilient. The mesosphere is the layer that vaporizes most meteors and
provides a protective layer for Earth. We believe in a strong willed and resilient mindset, your attitude
towards external opposing forces and negativity should strengthen your resolve and maintain its course.

3. Balance
“Meso” in mesosphere translates to middle. Materializing your greatest ambitions never happens all at
once. It is the result of small, consistent improvements every day. You must evaluate your own
individual situation and progress from there. Find a middle ground between stepping outside of your
comfort zone and your own abilities. These daily wins compound over time and slowly but surely
snowball into success.

4. Embrace the Unknown

The mesosphere is the most difficult atmospheric layer to study. It is too high for weather balloons and
aircraft to reach, yet too low for satellites to orbit in. Data is often gathered via instruments on sounding
rockets that allow for brief and infrequent study. Because of this, the mesosphere remains largely
mysterious in comparison to the other layers of the atmosphere. Most people shy away from
unfamiliarity and often fear what they do not understand. We immerse ourselves in the unknown and
leverage our findings to expand our knowledge and diversify our skillset.
The Mesosphere is responsible for creating shooting stars.

Make a wish,

Take action,

Lay the groundwork for your vision.

One day you will take a step back to only realize just how far you have come, and discover that not only
have you accomplished all you desire, but you’ve also fallen in love with the journey.
