Length of red paper = 2x 63u = 126u
63𝑢
Number of blue parts = = 7u
9

Number of stars on blue parts = 7u x 3 = 21u

126𝑢
Number of red parts = = 18u
7

Number of hearts on red parts = 18u x 5 = 90u

9. A + B + C + D = 6B
A + C + D = 5B (1)
A + B = 324 x 2 = 648 (2)
B + C + D = 344 x 3 = 1032 (3)
A + B + B + C + D = 648 + 1032 (2) + (3)
(A + C + D) + 2B = 1680
5B + 2B = 1680 substitute A+C+D from (1)
7B = 1680 ÷ 7 = 240

10. Let t = time after in hours after 11am

D = distance from Town A
Distance travelled by Mr Toh = 60 x t + 15
Distance travelled by Mr Lee = 80 x (t – 1)
When Mr Lee catched up with Mr Toh, their distance are equal

60 x t + 15 = 80 x (t – 1)
60t + 15 = 80t – 80
20t = 15 + 80 = 95
t = 95 ÷ 20 = 4.75 hour = 4 hour 45 min after 11 am
= 3:45 pm

Ans: 3:45 pm
