* EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THIS PATTERN *

1. Description: a decorative, richly textured, floral-themed Mandala Block. Can be made as a cushion
cover, a wall hanging, a centrepiece for a blanket, or a tote bag. There is an extension to this Block
which will follow on in May 2020. Green Tea is the fourth and final block in a series of 4 x Blocks
and 4 x Extensions ( to a 1.20m x 1.20m Throw size ).
2. Skill Level: Intermediate, although there is a full Instruction Video, so you can’t go wrong, even if
you’re a Beginner.
3. Crochet Terms: US ( but go up a size for UK terms eg: US sc = UK dc ).
4. Yarn: Stylecraft Special DK but any weight yarn is suitable, from thread to aran. Just be sure to use
a matching hook and remember that your finished size will change.
5. Hook Size: 4mm
6. Completed Size: before blocking, 48cm x 48cm.
7. Additional Materials: Scissors, darning needle, stitch markers, tape measure.
8. Stitches and Terms You Should Know: Beginning ( beg ), Wrong Side ( WS ), Right Side ( RS ), Space

Blocking is highly recommended as it will ease out your stitches.

Lay your block on a suitable surface.
Pin out carefully along the perimeter.
Spritz liberally with water.
Allow to dry and repeat several times.
I usually leave my block pinned out overnight.
Finished size is approximately 48cm x 48cm ( will definitely stretch to 50cm x 50cm ).
For a cushion cover, I would recommend a fabric backing.
