    In August 2021, we launched our GIVE (Goodness


    Starts in the Heart of Volunteering and Educating
    Our Young Ones): Adopt-A-School Project. This
    project's aims to provide modular distance
    learning to public schools and young learners in
    Calbayog City during the pandemic.

    The project’s first beneficiary is the Macatingog


    Integrated School. On August 29, 2021, we
    were able to distribute 124 school supplies to
    our young learners. The project was completed
    without any hindrances, thanks to the
    collaboration of Jojo Loberiano, a Starfish
    Scholar, and teachers from Macatingog
    Integrated School.
    During the donation turnover in that location, we felt so welcomed by the school, and they
    complimented us and wished us to continue helping the community and the school. We were
    overjoyed not only because of the compliment, but also because we could help those kids
    become more motivated to start their school year with new school supplies from an
    anonymous donor who donated an amount equivalent to adopting 1 School Beneficiary.
    In this situation, we should be more focused on how to motivate our
    children to study and emphasize the importance of education,
    particularly for young learners, because elementary education serves
    as the foundation for gaining basic knowledge, without that children's
    dreams will become impossible. It is normal to feel sad, worried,
    confused, scared, or angry, dear young learners. Know that you are
    not alone, and speak with someone you trust, such as a parent or
    teacher, to help keep yourself and your school safe and healthy.
