BRIEF ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

What is a world without teachers? Many say that teachers helped

build the world, for without them, no other professions would have
been possible. With that, they certainly deserve a special day for
their heroic stints. And so on the occasion of the World Teachers'
Day, the Rotary Club of Constitution Hill- Bagong Sandigan
(RCBS), Rotaract Club of Bagong Sandigan, and the Interact Club
of Judge Feliciano Belmonte Sr. High School, paid tribute to the
teachers who are members of the Rotary Club, during the regular
club meeting of RCBS.

President and Teacher Ruby, both of the Quezon City Public
School Teachers Association (QCPSTA). Interact members
serenaded the teachers through a song number. Though made
virtually over the Zoom App, it was indeed a heart warming tribute
for all the teachers. Salute to the teachers of the world!

BRIEF ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

This pandemic is believed to be one of the greatest challenges that the

nations of the world had ever dealt with. It has indeed changed our lives in
a lot of ways. Consequently, this global ordeal did not spare even how the
Rotary Clubs around the world go by. Armed with his experience and wide
medical expertise, Dr. Nischal Pandey , Charter President of Rotary eClub
of Connect, Delhi, India, shared very significant information on about
"Living With Covid 19". With the deluge of information about Covid-19 in all
forms of social media, it is a blessing that Dr. Pandey was able to shed light
on certain areas about this pandemic. For the Rotary Academy Class 14,
the Rotary Club of Constitution Hill-Bagong Sandigan and the Rotaract of
Bagong Sandigan were all ears on this timely session. Another worthwhile
Wednesday habit, indeed.

BRIEF PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Life Changing Ebenezer "Bong" A. Beloy of the Rotary Club of

Constitution Hill-Bagong Sandigan (RCBS), paid a personal visit
to Gov. Ed Ayento, D3780, at the Rotary Center, to hand over the
club's quarterly report. The report contains the activities and
projects that RCBS had accomplished from July to September of
the year. This submission of the quarterly report is very significant,
in that it provides the proof of the club's vibrancy and strong
commitment to "serve to change lives". Kudos RCBS for a job well
done in the first quarter if the Rotary Year 2021-2022. Way to go,
Sandigans!

BRIEF ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

Our fight against the pernicious Covid-19 is not yet over. All the
more, we need people who will.be standing at the frontline to help
others in their quest of battling this pandemic. One noble action
where one can commit an altruistic act is assisting in the
administration of the anti-Covid-19 vaccine. Such was exactly
what LCP Ebenezer "Bong" A. Beloy, did when he joined the
frontline force who administered the second dose of anti-Covid 19
vaccine at Don Alejandro Roces High school. With him are other
Rotarians from D3780.

BRIEF ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

Everything starts with nature, and without nature, there will never be a place called
Earth. It is just therefore befitting that the Rotary's 7th Area of Focus in its service
implementation is on the environment. And tonight, during the Class 15 of the Rotary
Academy, Dr. Christopher Puttock, Immediate Past Chairman of the Environmental
Sustainability Rotary Action Group (ESRAG), was aptly enthusiastic in sharing his
expertise on how Rotary can be of service to the communities of the world through
caring for the environment. Dr. Puttock specifically discussed his lecture, entitled
"Protecting the Environment". For both the Rotary Club of Constitution Hill-Bagong
Sandigan and the Rotaract Club of Bagong Sandigan, this was a great opportunity to
learn more about the interconnectivity among the environment, the community the club
serves, and its role as a club. A fruitful Wednesday virtual encounter indeed!

BRIEF PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The venue was flooded red during the celebration and fund raising
activities of D3780 for the World Polio Day. Donned in their red
Polio Day shirts, a vast majority of the D3780 Rotarians showed
their strong support to finally mark a period to polio, around the
world. During this event, the Rotary Club of Constitution Hill-
Bagong Sandigan (RCBS), headed by LCP Ebenezer " Bong"
Beloy, took part in the revelry. It was fun, indeed, because of the
various physical activities, but the bigger fun was the thought that
for every red shirt worn by a Rotarian (and probably friends of a
Rotarian) that flooded the venue, a particular individual
somewhere around the globe will be saved from the dreaded
polio. It warms our hearts to see that every Rotarian connects for
a common cause. On this day, together we say: "End polio now!"

BRIEF PROJECT DESCRIPTION
"Dream big; start small".
These words were uttered with conviction by no less than Dr. Carl Balita,
during the Rotary Club of Constitution Hill-Bagong Sandigan webinar on
"Entrepreneurial Skills Development". Dr. Balita, who has a big heart for
the people, is a self-made entrepreneur himself, whose life story is an
inspiration to a lot of budding entrepreneurs. In his lively and very practical
lecture, he emphasized both the importance of having good education and
being an entrepreneur, even using technology for this purpose. He also
entertained numerous questions and gave sound pieces of advise to the
Senior High School student-participants during the webinar. In relation to
this, LCP Ebenezer "Bong" Beloy spearheaded the launching of the club-
sponsored activity dubbed as "Pinagkaisang Talento at Kakayahan sa
Sining" (PINTAKASI), a competition showing both the creative ingenuity
and entrepreneurial prowess of the Senior High School students in Quezon
City, taking up Accountancy and Business Management strand.

BRIEF ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

The most remarkable humanitarian activity of the Rotary is its staunch

resolve to end polio globally. The funding of which that fuels this noble
activity comes from the Rotary Foundation. As clubs composed of people
of action, they are highly encouraged to implement meaningful and
significant projects in their immediate communities that will have a lasting
impact. This is supported by a grant from the Rotary Foundation, as well.
In any organization, funding is the bloodline that enables them to realize
their plans. All these and more were aptly discussed by RIPN Gordon
Mcinally. More than raising funds for the foundation, he also encouraged
each Rotarian to give the necessary inspiration so that anyone may
contribute wholeheartedly. For the Rotary Academy Class 17, the Rotary
Club of Constitution Hill- Bagong Sandigan and the Rotaract Club of
Bagong Sandigan were surely motivated to contribute something for the
Rotary Foundation.

Marc Voltaire Padilla, and the Head of Education Affairs Unit of Quezon
City, Hon. Aly Medalla. Life Changing President Dr. Ebenezer "Bong" Beloy
also shared his thoughts on how the Schools Division Office responds to

BRIEF ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

One of the stellar trademarks of the Rotary is its call to end polio.
If there is one thing that we can easily identify with Rotary globally,
that is its staunch advocay to finally put a period to this global
malady. For Rotary Academy Class 18, PRIVP Michael K.
McGovern, Chairman of the International Polio Plus Committee of
the Rotary International talked passionately on how Rotary had
helped the world in putting an end, or at least almost, to polio. He
was very greatful indeed that Rotarians around the world held
hands in pouring in their resources to this common cause. As for
the Rotary Club of Constitution Hill-Bagong Sandigan and
Rotaract Club of Bagong Sandigan, Class 18 was both an
inspiration and a challenge. Now that we are so close in ending
polio, much will also be expected from us, Rotarians.

BRIEF ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

The ultimate purpose of Rotarians' giving a generous financial contribution

is to make the Rotary Foundation vibrant. These gifts find their way to the
remotest parts of the world and even to nearby communities, where they
are most needed. The Rotary Academy Class 19 centered on the
whereabouts of the Rotary Foundation. And who is better to give light to
this very significant topic, other than the likes and caliber of PRIP John
Germ, who is a Rotary International Past President (2016–2017) and hails
from Tennessee, USA, One thing is for sure from his words, that the
foundation is very strong in terms of contribution and the role it plays
globally as the humanitarian wing of Rotary. What we contribute from our
respective clubs surely goes a long way towards making the foundation
turn in perpetuity.

BRIEF ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

If there is one thing that sustains the Rotary Foundation, it is the
magnanimous hearts of the Rotarians. If funding were lacking, the
foundation could surely not deliver its services to where they were needed.
It is the financial coffers of Rotary that sustain its humanitarian services,
thus propelling the foundation. However, the pandemic had a huge impact
on the fundraising efforts of the foundation, and the effect was globally felt.
Nevertheless, the Rotary, steadfast to its commitment to serving above
oneself, was able to hurdle this seemingly formidable challenge. True
enough, for the last session of Rotary Academy, Class 20, PDG Brenda
Worthley Cressey, Past TRF Chair, D7780, was quite empathic in
discussing the experiences felt by Rotary as far as fundraising for the
Rotary Foundation is concerned, during the pandemic. Indeed, it was a
worthwhile Wednesday night to cap the Rotary Academy for this Rotary
Year for both the Rotary Club of Constitution Hill-Bagong Sandigan and the
Rotaract Club of Bagong Sandigan. Wednesday nights will never be the
same again for the two clubs, as the academy temporarily closes. Kudos to
the men and women behind the success of this enriching endeavor!

BRIEF ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

Representing the Rotary Club of Constitution Hill-Bagong

Sandigan, LCP Ebenezer "Bong" Beloy attended the monthly
LCPs' district meeting with D3780 Gov. Ed Ayento spearheading
the event. Important reminders were given and future district
activities were discussed during this virtual gathering. When the
bridge of communication among clubs is left open, the
organization prospers and harmoniously works towards a
common goal. This was simply the case for our beloved district.
