At the end of the lesson, the learners will be able to :

a. Interpret the symbols, ladder diagram and materials of start stop motor control with
one (1) industrial motor,
b. Demonstrate the actual connection of start stop motor control with one (1) industrial
motor ; and
c. Energize the start stop motor control with one (1) industrial motor.

II. Subject Matter :

Topic: Motor control start stop with one (1) industrial motor.

a. Prayer
b. Greetings
c. Checking of Attendance

B. Review

 The teacher will ask the learner about the topic last meeting.
C. Motivation

 Video clip related to the subject matter.

D. Lesson proper

GROUP ACTIVITY

 The learners will group into two (2) groups and each group will choose their
presenter.
 Draw a ladder diagram of start stop motor control using illustration board.
 Label the symbols in the ladder diagram of start stop.
 You will be given 5 minutes to do the task.

 Check the work of the learners and give some feedback about their group activity.

ANALYSIS:

 Present the visual aid to the learners:

1. The ladder diagram of start stop motor control with one (1) industrial motor.
2. The lay out and its pictorial wiring diagram of start stop motor control.

Start stop motor control with (1) industrial motor.

LADDER DIAGRAM Figure no. 1

 Discuss the parts, the flow of the current of line 1 and line 2 and how it will works
( start stop motor control ) by using the ladder diagram ( figure 01 ).

APPLICATION

 Demonstrate the actual connection of the ladder diagram using the lay-
out/pictorial wiring diagram.

START STOP PICTORIAL WIRING DIAGRAM

Figure no. 2

ABSTRACTION

 Electrically, a start stop circuit with stop button pressed. If the stop button is
pressed it stops all current flowing and de energizes the circuit. This cuts all
power to the coil and removes the latch. The circuit cannot be started again until
the “start” button has been pressed.
E. Generalization

 What is the purpose of the start stop motor control in (1) one industrial
motor.
 The purpose of the start stop motor control in (1) one industrial motor is
to start stop circuits are widely used in electrical systems for control
systems and machine control. They can be used to turn a motor on or
off, start or stop a machine or start/stop a process.

IV. Evaluation:

 Individual actual demonstration

 The learner must undergo an actual wiring connection by following the

ladder diagram and using the wiring board.
 Rating of the performance using the criteria.

CRITERIA: RATING EQUIVALENT POINTS

Accuracy ________________ 50%___________________ 5 points
Speed of time_____________ 50%___________________5 points

TOTAL = 100% 10 points

I. Assignment/Agreement:
 Illustrate the ladder diagram of jog start motor control.
 Put it in a ½ CW of bond paper. 10 points.
 Pass it in our edmodo class.
