CODE OF ETHICS
SAHARA EMIRATES GROUP has a zero tolerance of modern slavery in all its forms in our own business and in our supply chain. This means not using
forced or compulsory labour, and/or labour held under slavery or servitude. SAHARA EMIRATES GROUP complies with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 in
its entirety, and we seek to work with clients to identify and manage areas of risk in our and their supply chain.

SAHARA EMIRATES GROUP commits to:


• Use ethical and transparent methods of working.
• Ensure all appropriate clients and supplier are subjected to SAHARA EMIRATES GROUP’S accreditation process.
• Ensure that we and our clients & suppliers comply with Modern Slavery Act and the International Labour Organization’s code convention as well as
local labour laws and regulations.
• Raising awareness of Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking by providing the guidance and training to its employees and suppliers.
• Provide clear and fair procurement methods and develop long-term relationships.
• Recognize excellent client and supplier’s performance through repeat business opportunities.
• Issuing an annual statement outlining all our steps taken to mitigate Modern Slavery in compliance with the Modern Slavery Act.
• Working alongside our international businesses to comply with Modern Slavery Act outside of the UAE.

SAHARA EMIRATES GROUP expects clients/suppliers to:


• Support and respect the culture, social, political, and legal diversity of all societies and protect internationally proclaimed human rights.
• Uphold the freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to recognition of the right to collective bargaining.
• Declare themselves in favor of prohibiting all kinds of forced bonded al involuntary prison labour.
• Employ no child labour, in line with minimum age laws within the countries you operate.
• Identify the areas of high risk and understand the impact to your supply chain.
• To train and educate employees and your immediate supply chain to understand the risk of Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking.
• Aim to develop a well documents process for reporting unethical activity that is well communicated throughout your business.

• Conducting frequent due diligent supplier checks for those suppliers deemed high risk.
• Implementing an improvement plan to support ongoing commitment towards the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
