    Dear sir,

    PETITION FOR INVESTIGATION OF MR. AKINLOLU AGUNBIADE AWOSANYA FOR LIBEL AND
    DEFAMATION OF CHARACTER ON THE PERSON OF HON. SOLOMON OLUWASEYI OSHO
    The subject matter refers;

    We are the Solicitors and legal representative of Hon. Solomon Oluwaseyi Osho, Esq.,
    Member, Ogun State House of Assembly, whose on his brief and instruction we write this
    petition.

    Sometime last month, June 28th to be precise, a perverted, an untrue petition was authored
    and propelled by Mr. Akinlolu Agunbiade Awosanya, with some unfounded allegations and
    same has since then been making rounds on social media.

    These allegations were not only untrue but was also published to ridicule, impugn, malign
    and defame the character of our client in the eye of the public because our client has been
    receiving calls, chats online and offline.

    The publication is by a long slingshot an infringement on our client’s privacy, as well as a


    breach of his privileges as Honourable member of the State Assembly, while we
    acknowledge the fact any and every individual has a right to make a petition or publication.

    However, same has a caveat that it mustn’t injure the person of the recipient, and it is a trite
    principle that he who alleges must proof, as none of the documents attached to the
    malicious petition linked our client to the causation of any crime.

    Our client hereby unequivocally denies all allegations levied against his person and/or
    character in its entirety and pray the Ogun State Command of the Department of State
    Security Services to invite the author of the malicious petition and investigate the matter
    and prosecute if found culpable.

    We urge you to use your good to investigate and prosecute if found culpable.

    Kindly find herewith attached pictures of the said malicious petition as posted on social
    media.

    While we thank you for your continuing efforts in strengthening and protecting democratic
    rights of our dear Nation, please accept the assurances of our highest regard.
