    8B, ISBe and QSB (Common Rail [..] Injector ‘Section AS - Engine Assembly - Group 00 Page AS-49 Tighten the injector hold-down capscrews. Make sure to tighten the hold-down capscrews evenly. Check to make sure the gap between the hold-down clamp and the injector is equally spaced around the injector body Tighten finger-tight and alternate between capscrews, turning 90 degrees per tum until reaching the following torque value. Torque Value: (3.9L and 5.9L): 10 Nem [ 89 in-lb] Tighten finger-tight and alternate between capscrews turning 90 degrees per tum until reaching the following torque value. Torque Value: (4.5L and 6.7L): 8 Nem [71 in-b) AcautionA The injector solenoid terminals will yield and may ialfunction if too much torque is applied. Do not over tighten. S Tighten the high-pressure fuel connector retaining nut. Refer to Procedure 006-082 in Section 6 Connect and tighten the solenoid wires.
