LAC 3-Reflection
The Learning Action Cell facilitated by Mam Eleonor Brinas and Mam Nina Kuizon began by teacher’s
inquiry of our questions in mind. Actually, we all have common question and it goes: How to hit the indicator’s
very satisfactory rating. Both facilitators explained each requirement in detail very well. For some indicators
such as 8 and 9 wherein TRF is needed and a specialized LP for indigenous and gifted children, the facilitators
invited the faculty to join a webinar to meet these requirements. Materials and MOV are actually available for
us, we just need to specify and point out the exact extent the indicator is asking for. Through the LAC session we
have also pointed out the strategies that can be applied and was implemented in this school year. We were
clarified of the things we need to emphasize and implement in the COT. We can now prepare with less stress for
we had full understanding of the RPMS-PPST 2021-2022.
Teaching is the highest form of understanding said by Aristotle. As a teacher it is vital to understand
what is being delivered inside the classroom. It would be so easy if it is that simple, but teachers may apply
different strategies to reach out different type of learners. RPMS Tools as assessment instruments used to
assure quality teacher performance at various stages of a teacher's career explains the roles and obligations of
teachers at various career stages, as well as the Key Result Areas (KRAs) for achieving those duties and the
precise objectives for achieving the KRAs. With that being said the purpose and goal of the Department of
Education can be attained if the RPMS is fully comprehended by our educators for building our country’s
quality education.
