Software Testing Foundation

Build a rewarding career as a software tester today

The challenges facing Indian engineering education have been documented in a number of studies. It is well known that even though there are a large number of technology institutions in the country, most of the graduates are unemployable due to a lack of technical and English competency skills. TalentSprint's programs for entry level professionals address this problem by bringing an innovative transformative perspective to training where it combines structured classroom learning with its unique experiential techniques. TalentSprint's Software Testing Foundation program combines conceptual orientation, exposure to the testing life-cycle, exercise-oriented test automation, bug-hunting assignments, training on testing techniques and international certification to transform new graduates into world class software testing professionals.

At the core of everything we teach, we inculcate a research-savvy attitude in the students enabling them to adapt to changing technologies and project environments. - Madhu Murty Ronanki, Executive Vice President

Experiential Approach to Testing

TalentSprint follows a practical case study driven approach to teaching. Students study bug databases and open source applications to learn testing. Starting from test design fundamentals, students are gradually introduced to test design techniques, test management basics and tools through hands on experience on various applications.

Thorough Grounding in Testing Tools

Automation is essential for application testing today. The students are introduced to various test automation frameworks and provided extensive training in automation techniques and best practices. Besides automation tools, students use test management tools such as Quality Center, bug trackers such as Mantis and several other test productivity improvement tools.

Professional Work Ethics

Discussions and role playing techniques are used to demonstrate standards of professional conduct and communication. Students explore what is required of them to become competent professionals. A practical and focused approach is followed to improve their communication skills. Students make presentations to the class on various conceptual and technical topics. They are taught how to write specifications, hold discussions and put their point of view across while talking to peers, seniors and clients.

International Certification
The finishing line for our students is ISQTB Certification. Students are coached to take the certification exam which allows them to join the extensive network of internationally certified quality and testing professionals.
