L’ORANGERIE

MONTE CARLO
INTRODUCTION
•  L’Orangerie is the first premium bitter
orange liqueur from Monaco.

•  It is handmade in our atelier in the

heart of Monaco using the bitter
oranges from the trees that line the
streets of this tiny principality.

•  The liqueur is all natural, with no added

chemicals, colourants or preservatives.

•  It is as unique as it is rare.

•  L’Orangerie is currently the only

premium alcoholic beverage made in
Monaco.

HISTORY
•  Steeped in history, L’Orangerie offers
a genuine taste of Monaco.

•  This is the story of a product that

showcases fruits that were once the
mainstay of the Monegasque
economy.

•  Monaco was once an agricultural

land, farming citrus fruits to be sold
to markets near and far, transported
by merchant ships docking in the
shelter of Port Hercule.

•  We are proud to connect the

tradition of citrus trading in the past
with the present day and offer this
authentic and original liqueur.

THE LIQUEUR
•  An extremely fresh and fragrant
liqueur, not too sweet.

•  Can be served as an aperitif or

digestif, either chilled or over ice.

•  It also works wonderfully as a

cocktail ingredient.

•  The Monaco Spritz has already

proven extremely popular amongst
locals. This is 1 part L’Orangerie with
3 parts Prosecco, served over lots of
ice and garnished with orange zest.

•  The bottle is 500 ml and minature

50ml bottles are also available –
these have been very popular with
hotels and events organisers.

PRODUCTION
•  Hand-crafted in our atelier in the
heart of Monaco using traditional,
artisanal methods.

•  The oranges are carefully selected

by hand, washed and peeled in our
atelier, and infused to our
safeguarded recipe to create a rare
and inviting specialty.

•  The liqueur is crafted in extremely

small batches.

•  The current production is a minimum

of 55,000 bottles per year.

MARKETING
•  The brand is aimed to hark back to
the Art Deco era in Monaco and the
Cote D’Azur. A time of glamour,
class and excitement.

•  Everything from the bottle label, to

the font used and marketing
supports have been very carefully
considered to remain true to our
ideals and the aesthetic of the 1920’s
on the French Riviera.

•  We have an active website,

www.orangerie.mc, as well as
Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
accounts.

•  Tastings and sales are offered in the

atelier for individuals and groups.
