1. The speed of car A and car B are 80 km/h and 70 km/h respectively. Car B takes half an hour
longer than car A to travel x km. Find the value of x.

5. A ream of paper has 300 sheets and cost $ 4.50. If a bookshop owner wants to sell the sheets

needs to price the repacked paper if he does not want to make any losses? Round off your
amount to the nearest cent.
