Sustainable development can be given emphasis in today’s living by the means of securing and
fostering the environment nor the earth as a whole. We obtain materials and resources that we
need from the environment which helps us to gain the development we experience right now
that’ s why we must live in a more sustainable lifestyle in order to maintain sustainable
development.
2. Why there is a need of food security?
Everybody needs food. The complexity of delivering sufficient food to a national population and
to the whole world population shows why food security is needed or such a priority for all
countries whether developing or developed. Food security is not about just food and feeding
people but also about practically all aspects of economy and society.

The role of citizens in shaping the world globally is that to understand the wider world and their
place in it. Citizens emphasizes political, economic, social and cultural interdependency and
