important?
✓ Anthropology - this is the study of humanity. Anthropology is very important to each and every
human person to know and have the background knowledge of someone’s culture, behavior, linguistics,
and racism. In that way, you will know how to treat well the person and act right. You will be able to
know the differences in human behavior and with that, you will be able to respect them without giving
insult prior to their acts and you will not hurt them insensitively.
✓ Biology - is the study of living organisms. It is important to study biology for us to better understand
the living world around us. This will help us more appreciate the evolvement of living things and this will
bring us to more improved advances in the sectors of medicine, agriculture, and other aspects of living.
✓ Psychology - is the study of mind and behavior. Psychology is one of the important aspects of a
person. This will help us understand human behaviors and mental processes. This will allow us better
understand how a person thinks, acts, and feel. With this, we will be able to be sensitive towards a
person’s feelings.
✓ Sociology - the study of social life, social change, and the social causes and consequences of
human behavior. It is important to study sociology to better understand why do we have social
differences, how do we overcome social problems and how can we deal with social changes that
affect our human behavior.
✓ Geography - the study of places and the relationships between people and their environments.
This will help us investigate and to think critically and creatively about the complexities of
places, and different views and feelings relating to places. Also, it will help us recognize the
great differences in cultures, political systems, economies, landscapes, and environments across
the world, and explore the links between them.
3. What is the difference between a primary source and a secondary source?
A primary source is a piece of first-hand information generated by a witness or
participant. It is unique and well-documented while Secondary sources are produced by an
author who used primary resources to produce the material.

sources?
Autobiography - Authors of autobiographies are direct witnesses of the events
and time described in the narration.
Interviews – personal interviews provide first-hand raw information and give
direct access to the subject.
